Borderlands delayed until 2009

360 News | A timing issue?
According to Kotaku, Take-Two Interactive has announced today that Gearbox Software's Borderlands has been delayed until sometime in 2009.

The title was originally announced last year and was given the release date of "Holiday 2008," but according to Take-Two the delay is "to allow additional development time for this highly anticipated game and provide a better balance in the release of Take-Two's triple-A titles."

Mafia II has also been dated for 2009 and Midnight Club LA has been delayed until Fall this year...

Damnit! I know the delay will only make the game better, but... I want it NOW!

*tantrum*

Hellgate just isn't all I wanted out of an FPS ARPG... I now look solely to Borderlands for that tasty treat. Mmm.... millions and millions of procedurally generated firearms....
