Triggerheart Exelica coming to XBLA this Wednesday

360 News | Shoot it down.
Microsoft have announced today, via a press release, that Triggerheart Exelica will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday for 800 points.

Triggerheart Exelica is a vertical shooter which is based on the original Japanese arcade game. In the game, players have to destroy enemy ships across five levels by utilising weapon systems known as Triggerhearts. The Triggerhearts allow players to capture enemy ships and then use them as a shield or as a projectile weapon. The Xbox Live version will feature enhanced graphics, three difficulty levels and a ‘Variable Boss Attack System,’ which adjusts the difficulty level accordingly to a player’s skill level.

We have included the first screenshots in the media panel.

I'm a little behind the ball here, but as a fan of THE and other games like it from the Dreamcast days, I can be nothing but overjoyed that this is hitting Exblahh. This, Ikuruga, as well as others hopefully!

Cheers for the update, Joseph. Has anyone acquired this yet and if so what's the port like?

I can't believe I missed this news article *bangs his head*, I'll need to get my router fixed ASAP so I can download Triggerheart Exelica. Great to see another shmup on XBLA, now if they only released the reported port of Ikaruga already. Would be even better if there was a port of Radiant Silvergun coming out as well icon_wink.gif icon_lol.gif
