Gearbox working on something big...

360 News | What, they're not busy enough?
Gearbox Software is a busy developer, they are currently working on Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, Borderlands, Samba di Amigo for the Wii and an Aliens first person shooter, but it seems they have something else up their sleeve.

In a message calling for job applicants on the Gearbox Forums, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford made the following post:

"I've started a new project. It's big. It's, like, look-at-our-line-up-and-imagine-something-even-bigger kind of big. I'm Directing it myself. I can't mention it publicly yet. When you find out what this is, you'll likely agree that I can't oversell this one."

In the job description, Pitchford pulls out all the stops to sell the gig, saying that "everyone will notice and play" the secret game; the "best concept artists in the world" will work on the title; and that the opportunity to work on Gearbox's megaton mystery game is "as good as it gets."

Better than Borderlands, the Diablo-meets-Madmax post-apocalyptic gun-nerd's wet dream? The man is straight bluffing.

I'd say it either has to be one of the big fps of the moment (Halo/ Cod) or something classic like Quake or Doom or wolfenstein.
