Duke Nukem 3D coming to XBLA?

IGN is running a story which strongly suggests that old-school first-person shooter Duke Nukem 3D will be making its debut on Xbox Live Arcade in the next few months. Following a hint last August from George Broussard, co-owner of 3D Realms, which suggested that the developer had initiated negotiations with Microsoft to bring the game to XBLA, this new information indicates that considerable progress has been made. Beyond the lengthy single-player mode, four-player online coop and eight-player online deathmatch are also set to appear.

Duke Nukem originally made the transition from 2D platformer to 3D first-person shooter in 1996. The groundbreaking title became extremely popular thanks to its wisecracking action hero and unconventional arsenal, including pipebombs, shrink rays and jetpacks. 3D Realms have since been working on the sequel, Duke Nukem Forever. A recent trailer has revived interest in the game, which came fifth in the PALGN Reader Most Anticipated Game of 2008 poll. If it is released this year, it will have been in development for well over 10 years - it was originally announced in April 1997.

ZzZz iam getting this , 4 player co-op and 8 player d-match ,That would be nice
i was acutally going to play this on pc just a while back ( before i knew about Duke nukem foreva )
