If you can, buy multiple things from Amazon at once, since IIRC their shipping model for games is $10 flat per order + $6 per item. Might even be cheaper to get a group buy going since shipping them out within Australia will just be letter post. I'm glad the reprint is going ahead, even though I already have a copy it's awesome that other people will be able to get it more easily!
Isn't this the third printing? (GameInformer says it's the second.) IIRC there was already a second run that didn't have the soundtrack. _________________

As the world collapses around us, I want to express my appreciation for this thread. I came for Australian release dates, often browsed the game exchange and bargains, but the community in this thread is what kept me here. Thank you. _________________

Something I always wondered, why do you all talk about JRPGs so much in here. It's an RPG thread and yet there's like no D&D _________________

I want to echo these sentiments. My Palgn existence was based around this thread as well as the users that mostly posted in here. It's kind of disappointing to see Palgn go like this but I don't regret my time spent here and in particular joining in the discussions of this awesome thread.
I think I have most of you on either PSN, Live or Steam but just in case you aren't feel free to add me. Better to throw that out here now just in case Roland decides to pull the plug in the near future. I'll still be around until that happens .

wait what's happening with the website? I just thought they are just changing how it looks :/
Anyway I like to think that we talk about JRPGs because they don't get multi-million dollar marketing budgets and don't stay in many radars compared to WRPGs =) for example I was reading an article about the Radiant Historia reprint and one of the commenters wrote 'ok, so wtf is Radiant Historia? Never heard of it'. =p
Anyway someone from my local anime community wants to get this forum active http://www.jrpgamer.s4.bizhat.com/ so maybe if this thread dies then we can move over or something >_> _________________

I'm already there.....( Join Date 14-10-2009 ) - but it doesn't have our post appreciation function.......
Is there some way of archiving this thread? Would be a shame to lose in the event of an PALGN implosion.... _________________

Yeah, we owe Pespy and Kyle Clarthy a fair bit. True RPG legends! This has been my favourite thread for a long time now, I never fail to check it if I'm on PALGN. I've been here since the very first page, and have had a great time chatting with you all about some of the best games out there, and have tried to do my bit to keep the thread running, especially since Kyle's absence.
We should definitely try to keep this community-within-a-community together, no matter what happens to PALGN in the future. All I can say is that, once this rocket takes off, you can be sure that there'll be an RPG thread waiting for you. _________________

I don't really post here much but I wanted to take the time to thank people who gave me that extra push I needed to try out the Persona games. I absolutely loved them and have become a fan of SMT and Atlus in general as a result. It was always cool to see other people passionate about JRPG's discuss everything about the genre and upcoming games. _________________

A busy life happened to him but he's doing well though.
This thread is the only reason I really visit PALGN anymore to discuss my favourite type of game and to get the latest RPG news. _________________

Goddammit, I got it for GAME's price when they had that sale and thought it was a good deal. I want another copy just for the figurine, almost. _________________

Guys I'll make this quick cause I really need to go to bed.
Having stumble along this website in regards to the bargains / release dates it wasn't until this thread that I joined my forum for my first post (over on page 5 for those who are keeping count, though that's not as good as Ads). I found this topic to be a great place to talk about my favourite genre of video games because unfortunately JRPGs are exactly the most talk about genre at school which mean that this was the only place I could discuss them.
Over the years on this thread we have had many people come and go and while I wasn't the most active person on this thread, it was great hearing about people just talking about JRPGs in general from Lufia 2 on the SNES to the Valkyria Chronicles on the PS3 especially with games that I haven't played yet. This thread was the reason I came to PALGN just about every single day and enjoy listening to the regulars comparing the game that they were playing to the classics on every level from the gameplay to the music. Not to mention some awesome times like reading Kyle's epic posts or playing / discussing Skies of Arcadia with Robo or even talking about Shadow Hearts Convenant with the entire community at the time.
For those of you who I don't have on the PS3 network it just my user name though feel free for anyone to PM their PSN and I'll add them.
PSN: the_spensa
And unless anyone can suggest a forum which we are all going over to I guess I'll see you all on rocket. Also for those of you who haven't buy Radiant Historia.
P.S It's so nostalgic going back to the beginning of this thread with all the ps2 games that haven't been released.
P.S.S I just got a notice saying that my copy of the Last Story has been shipped out, has anyone else got it because it seems a bit too early to be saying that, also I still need to finish Xenoblade and I don't think I'll be able to finish it before I get the Last Story _________________ Currently Playing : Atelier Iris 2 (PS2), Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii), Legend of Heroes : Trails of the Sky (PSP), 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (DS) and Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)

Actually, no, I won't buy it. It will just suck up time... I have so much else to play and on the radar. I'll live to regret this ;P
