Kind of a random question, but what would be the best way to go about keeping microwaved food warm? Say I wanted to eat it 30-60 minutes after it's cooked, how would I do that? I'm thinking wrap it in alfoil which should keep the heat in, but is there anything better?
Oh, and what are some good ideas for a picnic, things to take or do, to make it more interesting? (romantically, if that matters).

What sort of food? Foods vary in retaining heat... _________________

Heat it, cover it in foil, put in oven and heat up just enough to keep it warm. _________________

Heat it, wrap it in foil and tape it to your cars air-filter for the trip to the picnic.
Note: Furianshi will not be held responsible for any food over-heating, burning, or engine/engine-bay fires.
Strapping your food to your air-filter is dangerous, and if you were to follow such a procedure, it would be at your own risk.

You could try one of those cool bags with the silvery stuff on the inside? They work in reverse for hot stuff too... maybe if you heated it up hotter than normal (if possible without ruining it) and then popped it in one of those it would hold it's heat longer? _________________

Want to keep something hot for a picnic?
Put the hot food in a sealed container, something that retains heat well or a glass/ceramic container that is itself heated works well. Then wrap it in dry tea towels or a regular towel, the more the better. Then dump the bundle in an esky or insulated bag, obviously without anything cold in it.

Question:
Anyone know a really good website for tv show news?
Cheers
I already know ign.tv and tv.com thats about it.
I should also mention for USA shows. _________________

Probably not exactly the type of thing you're looking for John, but the forums at imdb.com are pretty good. More 'goss' than 'news' though...
Also, you other guys, clearly the air-filter thing is the way to go. No better way to impress your woman than with a little eccentric ingenuity. It's kooky and 'different', and chicks dig it when you think outside the box.
Maybe do a test-run beforehand if possible, just to be 'safe'.

If there's a particular show you want to follow, I find Livejournal (yeah, yeah, I know ) useful for that. There are communities for most shows, especially the popular ones, and people post news as they come across it. _________________

You need to make sure the old embed code is clicked and nothing else then you get that link and copy it and use these codes:

Is it an NTSC console and a PAL TV or vice versa? Your TV might have an option to swap between formats somehow. Heck, even the console might have an option to swap. _________________

NTSC-J console and PAL TV.
Not sure if the saturn has that option. _________________

| Quote: | If you have a TV that only accepts RGB and PAL 60 but not NTSC, you will need to use an RGB cable to achieve a colour picture from the Sega Saturn. It should be noted now that there are some TVs out there that do not have RGB inputs.
In this case you will either have to buy a new TV (recommended), or an NTSC to PAL 60 converter. |
so basically, if your tv doesn't have a PAL 60 option, you'll need a new TV.

It won't. You need a TV that can handle NTSC (which is basically any half-decent TV made in the last fifteen years.) _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman

According to that faq, provided you have a TV that outputs PAL 60Hz, you'll need either a RGB scart cable, an NTSC-PAL converter (which will require separately a SS AV cable), or a new TV that supports NTSC.
If your current TV doesn't have a scart port, looking at the price of the converter + cable, you'd probably be better off going to cashies, or somewhere like that, for another TV. Maybe take the Saturn in to test it out on a few.
You'll need a new TV anyway though, if the one you're using can't output PAL 60.

I just broke my Rock band 2 drum kit's pedal. Right at the part where the metal plate ends >_> ffs
Anyway the question: Where can i buy a replacement pedal? I have a friend's pedal from a RB1 kit which works but i obviously don't want to break it as it's not mine.
I would like just another RB2 kit pedal but i'm wondering if those "destroyer" pedals or w/e they're called are worth it. I know they're like 4x the price but i'm only a casual player so i'm a bit reluctant to drop down so much on a pedal.
Eyce or someone, help me here Thanks. _________________

I have an 8GB iPhone 3G on Telstra Prepaid, I recharge approx $20 a month and the first 100 texts are only $0.01, After 100 they go to 25c each. My iPhone is jailbroken and unlocked and I was wondering if there was an app or cydia app that counts how many texts I send?
Thanks.

Never tried this before but have you tried iTunes - Quick Usage. The free version updates daily and only supports 1 account.
Funny enough for something like this I thought there would be an official Telstra app. Maybe that's something I can do when I have the time for the company I work in (Telstra employee ). _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"
