Investigators said the woman accessed the online role-playing game "Lineage" using the man's username and password in about April last year.
"Lineage" is an adventure game in which players fight enemies with characters such as knights and magicians. Players can type messages to each other while they are playing the game, and can have their characters team up.
The woman and the man reportedly met each other through the game in the autumn of 2003, and started a relationship, actually meeting each other, but they soon broke up, police said.

it's funny that all they have really been able to get her for is (basically) fraudulantly entering the game... identity fraud...
i wonder if it would have been theft if she'd given the items to her character?

I just read in the paper that these two guys shared an account on some game! They had this really expensive item, one of the guys sold the item so his friend that was sharing the account stabbed him a couple times in the chest!

Thats pathetic.
It's more pathetic as some kid erasing game data on my gameboy games. If that was done to me I would make them pay the subscription until they got me back up to exactly where I was.

Ive had worse someone restarted my Pocket Pikachu in year 6 and it was in love with me - so much shaking gone to lost lol

Ahahahaha I had a Pockert Pikachu! That thing was soooo cool...I used to spend hours with my cousin shaking that thing! I swear I would of broken it!
