Facts...gawd, I can't stand fanboys on both side
Give it up, the PS2 is a massive success (market wise and imo) and has a ton of AAA titles...and the Gamecube will also do well once they get there million sellers out (Mario, Zelda, etc)...but there's no chance any system will be catching up with PS2...
The only system that is even coming close to PS2's sales is a handheld...and the rest of the world is like that except XBox actually does pretty good in North America...but basically evens out with Gamecube in terms of hardware sales in North America _________________

Ohhh...and by the way...the differences in graphics dont sway the public opinion barely at all
N64 was a superior machine to PSX
Genesis was a superior machine to SNES
Hell, if newer and "better" machines were so important...than we would all be playing on our Jaguar 128
I mean come on...the differences in graphics are barely noticeable...and if they are just a bit...it dosen't really matter...PS2 has the market dominated...
...and releasing a system early didn't kill Sega...bad reputation and no auto-million sellers is what did... _________________

Just several people in this thread...not meant as an insult or anything
Just some of the people on this board are Sony fanboys are Nintendo fanboys (most of them are nintendo fanboys)...so that was a statement to both...
One is already a VERY successful console...and the other is on it's way to being a successful console
Both are worthy purchases...and if you dont have both, then you are definitely missing out on alot of great games... _________________

I cannot however agree with that. Now I have experianced the great games on the SNES, I can say its better than the Genesis. If you're talking about system specs, I apologise, I don't know what one was better Hardware wise _________________

I believe the SNES had better hardware and sound - except the Mega Drive(Genesis) could run games full-screen, whereas SNES couldn't.
Did you ever play any of the Street Fighter games on the MD? Awful sound and colour depth! _________________

PS3 will be lame as it will come out before the x-box 2? or the Game Cube 2? or even the Indrema 2?(this will never happen as the company went bankrupt over 2 years ago now)Then its graphics will be out of date so will the modem if internal, sound,processor and the casing including USB(X)
