I don't know if anyone else here does this, maybe its just me (I guess we'll find out ) But since Steam introduced the screenshot feature I've really taken a liking to screenshotting my games as I play them. Since it saves them into my Steam profile I have a bit of a collection now of screenshots I've taken. Whether its to show a pivottal section of the story that I want to look back and remember when I'm thinking about it again, capturing a really cool looking moment, or just some really beautiful graphics. I only keep the best screenshots and I'd like to share a few. I noticed some other gamers have been keeping a screenshot collection too so maybe we can post our best ones here if any other PalGNers do it.

Pretty cool idea, i used to love taking screen shots in video games, or even recording my game play - eg: recording my "run through" of Doom/Doom 2, or the deathmatch games i used to play.
It's somewhat funny in today's games i don't have the time, patience or "reflexes" to be able to concentrate on controlling my character, then hitting the screenshot button. I've been able to do it in Steam while watching a game replay (eg: watching my previous match in Street Fighter IV). But i rarely take the time to screenshot as i play "live".

Well generally I have mostly taken screenshots during cutscenes since they tend to look better anyway, are easier to capture, and have the most screenshot-able moments
Here's some from Mass Effect 2. My favourite is the second one, all the lights and different colours!

Love the idea!
Dare I say I have looked at your screenshots on Steam before as they are cool to look at.
Maybe a list at the end from what games they are is a good idea? At the end because then it's not intruding on the screenshot and adds that bit of mystery. _________________

I have tonnes of screenshots. Mostly in Eyefinity though so it'll stretch the page. You want those URL linked or we going all out with this thread? _________________

I resized mine in Photoshop from 1920x1080 to 1000x563. A width of 1000 fits the screen perfectly when the forum is "collapsed" rather than "expanded" but eyefinity is suuuper wide so if you do that there will no height So yes just link those URLs, i'd love to see what your beast of a computer can do _________________

Can we put in a thread rule of "No EVE screenies"? It's impossible to take a bad screenshot in EVE and people would think they're showing off.

Double post but who cares?
If you want to see some seriously artistic screenshots check out the Dead End Thrills blog.
There's also a guy who acts like an in-game tourist photographer. Taking photos of some of the most picturesque things he comes across. I can't for the life of me find his blog right now. _________________

IceHancer mod? I really wish I could get that thing working All it does for me is flood everything with a bright white light which makes it ugly and looks nothing like your screenshot.

Yeah, that was a borked Super Mario Galaxy 2 shot. Mostly its fine, but some stages clash with the renderer, especially when AA is turned on. Here's some heavily downsampled shots of the credits sequence of Twilight Princess, which I played from start to finish at 1080p without a hitch.

Twilight Princess didn't play so great for me I kept getting framerate drops Maybe it was my settings but theres always so much tweaking involved it gets long in the tooth trying to get emulation to work well.
Time for some shots from a brand spanking new game (for PC gamers) LA Noire!

Not my shot, but a sweet awesome example of what Galaxy 2 can look like when it's not spazzing out like mine did.

That is awesome!! How do you play Wii games on Dolphin that require the Wiimote? Do you just use a bluetooth connection? How about the sensor bar?
And now another Skyrim:

Skyrim images! Everything set to Ultra + tweaks, 8xAA and 16xAF, about 70-100 fps outside, 300+ inside for single screen, about a constant 70-100 all round for Eyefinity.
Annnd Eyefinity version.

That is gorgeous!! Is it possible to tweak it somehow to play it with an Xbox360 controller without needing any motion controls?
Time for some Crysis 2 because we all know its going to happen eventually
Maxed out, DX9, Blackfire Mod & Maldo HD Texture Pack.

You can completely customize the controls under Dolphin. Say you needed to execute an upward move on the Wiimote then you can simply map it to "up" on the analog stick for example. The problem is actually making it practical because you only have so many buttons on a control pad.

you could also use a dual shock 3 or a 360 controller or hell even a move but in regards to using a daul shock 3 the software thats going around is rather junk ie it has to coonect to the net and pulls AD data down from the net which i do not like at all
is there somthing that dosnt do that ? _________________
