great game, too bad it hates my stick for no real reason. (Also wouldn't the first street fighter be the least successful?) _________________

hmm I wouldn't call it one of the main Street Fighter franchises. the first game tends to get written off...even I cognitively believed Street Fighter II to be the beginning ^^; _________________

Parries frighten me. Considering I can't reliably pull off FADCs in SF4, tapping forward in time with the 3(+) hits of Ken's shoryuken is beyond me. Nevermind trying to parry all of Chun-Li's super =( _________________

touché.
Once I get a new stick I wanna get into this hard though. Had a great time in our hit up the other day just a shame I was stuck on a pad.
Makoto and Ibuki are way more fun in 3 then 4. Although I kind of prefer Dudley in 4. I wanted to give a decent go to Necro cause his design is rad but dear god his voice is irritating. Might look into playing some Q. _________________

Hrmm, tried the demo and thought it was okay from what basic moves I could pull out of my butt. Nice review though, I may purchase it eventually, need to learn some basics but.

Don't think my boss will take that as a good enough reason to leave work early.
Tonight around 6? _________________

Aha! Ask him to come along as well!
But yeah, round 6 sounds good. I'll probably be online round then anyway. _________________

@David
I think you will enjoy Street Fighter III, simply because it's the coolest and edgiest one with a really fluid combat system. Street Fighter III is the Street Fighter that fans of Guilty Gear/BlazBlue would really enjoy. _________________

I'll second Jahan on that one, going from blazblue to SF 3 felt far more natural then SF 4. _________________

You can't talk street fighter 3 without mentioning this the classic match between Daigo and Justin at EVO 2004
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pS5peqApgUA&feature=related
I recommend watching the whole thing, but skip to 2:41 if you're impatient.
