So, inFamous 2 is getting some "DLC", but it's not what you'd expect! Here's the trailer:
| Playstation Blog wrote: | inFAMOUS 2 Festival of Blood will be a brand new standalone single player DLC for download via PSN. Vampires swarm New Marais, and revered superhero Cole MacGrath has been bitten. To save his soul – and the city – he has just one night to find and kill the head vampire. Featuring new missions, themed environment settings, plus new characters and enemies, Festival of Blood explores the darker side of the inFAMOUS universe. Previous inFAMOUS games will not be needed to play this DLC.
The DLC will swarm PSN in October, in time for Halloween. You will not need the inFAMOUS 2 disc, Festival of Blood is a stand alone expansion. |
Personally, I have to say that this is pretty much the last thing that I expected to see. Sucker Punch certainly know how to mix things up! _________________

Actually a couple of lame add on levels and zombies (oops, I mean Vampires) is exactly what I expected.

Late response, But I'd say its about 2, 2.5 hours if your lucky. Only really feels like about 4 missions, but its got the UGC in there as well, and trophies/collectables that if your chasing after them, could open things up a bit more.
Its a shame this isn't a expansion to the main game, it might have been interesting to mix up the enemies in some ugc. _________________

I'm loving this! (apart from my previous infamous complaint: no aim assist or lockon - especially relevent now that eniemes can smoke jump and fly) - I said here http://palgn.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=63866 that buffy & jet set radio kept my xbox set-up. This almost lets me pack it up........
Edit - story done. Yeah - 5 missions or so, 2.5 hours. Too short. Still good though. _________________
