I know a lot of you disagree with what i'm about to say but...
MAKE IT STOP!
I'm so sick of super hero movies, especially reboots when the last one was several years ago. It's a mass cow milk.
Except you Batman. You can stay. _________________

i like it as it lets me experience super hero origins/storys that i other wise wouldn't have - considering there pretty spot on with the comics these days in terms of portrayal. _________________

I'm a little concerned with Superhero movie franchises being rebooted, however i am more concerned with the market being flooded with more super hero movies than there needs to be.
It will eventually get to the point where there have been so many of them, that the market for the more traditional heroes like Superman or Batman will end up suffering both creatively (ie: weak scripts in order to meet deadlines) and box office returns - thus leading to no more movies in the future.

I'm just worried that it's getting to the point that you can't have an action movie that's not also a comic book. Nothing against comic books, but every story I've seen in a comic book ends up with the hero winning, and 90% of the time saving/winning the girl as well. It gets boring.

Ok I know I'm pretty biased since I'm a huge comic book fan but bring it on I rekkon.

That's a good 95% of mainstream movies full stop.
I mean shit, John McClane got the same girl twice in two different movies. Also there are plenty of comics that don't do that infact a lot of comics that have been addapted into movies get that shit added in when they become a movie. Check out the comic book for RED, or Wanted, or Constantine (The books called hellblazer) The whole romantin subplots for that stuff is entirley from the movies. That shit just wasn't in the comics at all.
The thing is super heroes aren't a genre. I mean look at DC's offerings.
Batman, Superman and Green Lantern.
Batmans a gritty 'realistic' noir crime story, Green Lantern is a space opera and Superman is a traditional Super hero story.
Marvel have been kind of pumping out the traditional super heroes of late, but honestly they're running out of that kind of story. Although the stuff that they haven't done that usually ended up sucking could have been amazing and defintly not superherois in the right hands (Ghost rider for one) I mean we're getting Powerman and Dr Strange soon. They're not going to play anything like the stuff they've been putting out lately. If they get the right director for Strange that movie will be like nothing anyones seen before.
As for superman, that needed a fucking reboot. The last movie blew. I know Snyder gets a lot of flack but at least we can be certain we're going to see Supes punch some shit. I'm a little bummbed that Brandon Routh got ditched though I thought he was great as Supes. _________________

The timing of it is "off" for me that DC's offerings, whilst they may be good just scream ongoing pissing contest between them and Marvel, one has a Renaissance & reimaging then the other has to because damnit that's the way these two entities roll! Marvel does an Avengers linking movie session, well DC of course combat this with JLA and as such you get rebooted tie ins where Supes doesn't look like a 14 year old trapped in a 32 year olds body.
Of course that's not to say Marvel aren't copying and tagging on as well, but I'm laying the market flood square on DC for this batch because they have a pretty decent gem in the Batman reinventions, but they could barely wait 6 years to reimage Supes? "Oh but that's old Supes, now is new Supes!" I just don't get why we have to get flooded with both things at the same time cause one entity can't just hack the other getting in first with something.
That and I'm waiting for Image to come out with a Brigade movie...
Otherwise I agree on Doc Strange, initially I didn't like the character similar to "cosmic shit" before Annihilation Wave, but going back, that could be one very weirdarse effort in a good way.

And here's how the costume should look.
The texture of the suit looks pretty much like the new Spidey suit. IT'S ALL THE SAME. _________________

The Spidey suit looks like mesh ... I don't know about anyone else, but Supes doesn't look like that. It's more a silk/rubber material.

Yeah, definintely, I agree there, but it still gets boring. It's almost as if, as a young director, they have to stick to the Hollywood structure until they've had a decent number of movies, and by the time they're well received enough to be able to do something original, they've either forgotten how to make it interesting (like Zach Snyder) or they've decided it's easier to keep making the samn damn movie (Michael Bay).
Actually, I just realised Snyder is directing this, so I guess he goes in the "Same damn movie" category too. Guess that's what happens when you blow your chance at making something original.
