You should play it, grim! I reckon that it's an RPG series that even non-RPG gamers can appreciate.
The battle system is more than just mashing the X and triangle buttons, there's timing your attacks, dodging, blocking and using magic. There's a lot more depth than you'd think. _________________

Alright i've taken it as far as I can, 18 hours of straight gaming (Started this at 7:30pm last night) and i can barely see straight. Didn't get all the way to the end, but I made it to the final run on Hollow Bastion, with all the other worlds completely finished. Thanks to those who dropped in to watch and suggested games for me, I'll definitely be picking a shorter game next time xD
(i'll probably delete this and rewrite it properly after i sleep, but that's generally what I'm thinking now) Thanks again! _________________

Crashed at the best part! That was entertaining to watch though, congrats on 18 hours. I played about 5 hours of games today and I've already passed out on the couch. _________________

Alright finally awake enough to post again
The thing that sent me packing was while running around Hollow Bastion trying to find Tron's computer lab I realised I knew where it was, knew how to get there but just couldn't seem to follow my own directions >.> I'd be thinking "Okay next left" then I'd forget that in the intervening seconds and just go straight. I figured if I couldn't even navigate a simple path I was probably done.
I'm probably gonna finish the last few hours sometime soon, just so that whole exercise wasn't wasted .
Oh and I'm definitely doing this again, even with the whole nearly passing out thing i still had heaps of fun...definitely a shorter game next time though, that was brutal xD _________________

Wow, good effort!
Getting in first to request, nay... demand that the next title you attempt is the legendary Chrono Cross _________________

Oooo, I haven't tried that, is it some relation to Chrono Trigger? And how long is it? cause anything longer than 18-20 hours seems to be my limit _________________

It's the sequel to Chrono Trigger. Probably longer then 20 hours though.
Also, amazing game. _________________

Yeah, Chrono Cross is definitely longer than 20 hours. If you can get your hands on the original Shadow Hearts game (great horror themed RPG), it can be completed in about 19 hours. _________________

Provided you have maps and conquered the judgment ring to shallack enemies, cause I so got lost in Nemeato and tried picking it up later to find out that I so lost all my timings with the ring that I was failing horribly. Then I lent it out to a mate and that was... 7 years now since I keep forgetting to get it back?
I would not say it's a pick up and "speed run" kinda of game, you'd need to plan for it to be completed sub 20hr, as my save file on it is about 27hr with just the last section to go. You're probably more likely looking for sandbox games (like Steambot Chronicles which has a rather short linear narrative despite an expansive subquesting system) or extremely linear RPG's where you can glitch or exploit them (eg Suikoden 2 which can be speed run to about 8 hours or exploiting a glitch to make the main game much much easier via Matilda Gate) otherwise you'll generally always hit the 20hr mark with them.
