First time OoT player, up to the Spirit Temple now. Enjoying the game lots so far, especially the puzzles and when opening chests, but one thing that has really annoyed me is that sometimes the game is too vague on where you should be going next. Although I guess the game does encourage exploration, but I've spent way too much time just walking around and not knowing what I should be doing...
SPOILER
When adult Link first arrived at Spirit Temple by foot, I warped out immediately after realising I couldn't proceed any further, not knowing I was suppose to walk out of the temple to trigger a scene. Spent like another 2 hours just wandering around before realising that I WAS on the right track :S
END SPOILER _________________

This is how you post spoilers

If you are posting about a game, and you are describing some element of the plot or anything that isn't otherwise mentioned in the instruction manual, and sometimes, even if it is, a spoiler warning would be nice... the best way to do this is to simply type SPOILER, leave 5 lines, write your piece leave another 5 lines and type END SPOILER. alternatively, you could make it so the user has to take some effort to view the spoiler by changing the colour of your text. the BEST way to do this is using the following tags:
| Code: |
<insert spoiler text here>
|
This will produce ">>>SPOILERS<<< wrote:" followed a white box, with white text, which anyone who doesn't mind being spoiled has to highlight the text within with their mouse to see. Like so:
| >>>SPOILERS<<< wrote: | | nifty, hey? |

I agree about the vagueness, unless you're actually working on a side quest in which case that damm fairy won't shut up about what you're actually meant to be doing. Come to think of it... she even bosses you about when you're already doing the thing she's 'hinting' you should go and do. _________________
