I struggled with pilotwings at max, but this game I have no problems. it's certainly the best example of 3D ive seen on the 3DS yet.
Magic game. Sunk 3 hours into it without even realizing. Love the music changes as well at various bits.- _________________ Shin J Leon.

In the pre-release media I was pretty underwhelmed by the visual upgrade, and I still think they played it safe, but seeing it in real time with 3D is something else entirely. Its really, really pretty thanks to nicer textures and character models, as well as little details added here and there. The latter in particular makes the world seem so much more lively than the original.
I'm very, very impressed so far. Its pretty crazy how genuinely good the game is too. After all these years it has done a fanastic job of standing the *cough* test of time. _________________

Has anyone reached adulthood yet?
I just finished Jabu Jabu, noticed a few little bugs that im sure weren't there in the original. (I could be wrong tho)
The Octopus mini boss I noticed I had a very hard time of actually registering a hit with the boomerang while it was spinning.
Also noticed in zora's domain where you light the torches this time it only gives you a chest if you light the two torches under the waterfall in the 'correct' order. _________________ http://bencadphotography.com/

Currently up to the Shadow Temple. Everything is the same gameplay wise, down to the Golden Skulltulas, which means those like myself who played the original to death can run through like crazy.
I'm still getting used to the new Ocarina button scheme. Kinda how people playing the GCN version were a little confused with the button layout.
I've noticed the magic attacks are far less "ferocious" looking than the N64 counterparts, but that's because the 3DS version has redone the graphic on each of them.
The 3D effect really pops the world out. I just can't play it without it on at some level now, the game just looks too flat. Excellent job.
And the owl during the child Link stages still drives me up the wall.

Yes, I could never go back to the original now. The redone visuals just add SO much atmosphere to the game. The touch screen menu is fantastic. Also the framerate is so much better. _________________ Shin J Leon.

Yeah I wasn't lucky enough to get mine, gotta wait till Thursday. Super excited though. The first time I played this was when the Limited Edition of Wind Waker came out. Unfortunately I had to move the GC to a different room cause the old one we have wasn't capable of 60Hz. _________________ "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."

Regardless of how many times I play this game or how many years have passed, the Bottom of the Well still scares the living daylights out of me.

It is true, some places just either don't have stock or are being really secretive by not having it on shelf or only available for the preorders. _________________

There are still a few places where I've seen the framerate drop pretty dramatically(first place that comes to mind is that room with pots in the city, go in there and smash a few at once). Though compared to the original, its really nothing I guess.

I got mine at 5 to 5pm. So I couldn't have been bothered calling.
I think it has something to do with what EB posted on their Facebook wall alittle while ago.

Just got to Adult Link.
Game is just so good, better then I remember. The subtle puzzles are so refreshing considering in modern games, everything is given to you. _________________ Shin J Leon.

It's been awesome playing through this game once again. I'm currently up to the Shadow Temple. I spent the past 30 minutes in the Bottom of the Well, forgetting how easy it is to get the Lens of Truth. Instead, managed to get everything else before finding the Lens. _________________

Just out of curiosity, what does the monster that bursts out of the well look like now? Still a shade of purple or something?
I watched some footage and noticed that Princess Ruto wears clothes now..Did all Zora get that treatment? _________________

Yeah, its amazing really. I always kinda scoff at the whole "BEST GAME EVER" thing regarding OoT, and I still think bits and pieces of it were improved in later games, but goddamn has it held up well. Like, really friggen well. So well that if it were released for the first time now it would receive a lot of praise.
It was way ahead of its time. Way, way ahead. It and Majora's Mask basically validate Nintendo's choice to go with carts. _________________

They changed it so that it looks like a big-ass shadow.
Which reminds me of, I also like how the shadow of the hand monster in Forest Temple/Shadow Temple/etc actually looks like a hand. Makes it more creepy!
And in regards to Princess Ruto, I thought that she looked the same as the original? _________________
