On top of the gathering skills I listed above, I'm also not buying a damn thing other than skills. On top of that the companions I have are also troopers which use the same stats my characters does, meaning they get all my handmedown gear before I vendor it, so I'm not wasting other gear drops on them. That could be a factor.

Yeah I hand things like blasters/implants/ear pieces down but every other character I have uses medium armour ( I use heavy), but when I do buy equips its through the Galactic Market :\ Those prices are crazy. Why buy something via vendor for 20k plus when you could probably find a better version for about 1/10 of the price..
I find the stuff that I farm (metals, compounds, gifts, class specific armour schematics) sell for pretty much nothing :\ _________________

I think that would be because there seems to be a very high % of drops in this game. I purchased an additional baggage row at teh start and I' very glad I did, because of all the crap I accumulate.
When my card are full on non trash stuff (you can send your companion for vendor your trash stuff at any point out of combat in case you didn't know) I alway fast travel back to a market to list everything. I've leanred that any gear other than weapons on Swiftsure needs to be listed at about 60% of the recommende market value to sell on the first try. Weapons around 80%. Otherwise they come back. If after the second attempt they don't sell I tend to vendor them. I'm sure I could still get more by lowering the price again, but I'm looking at credits perhour and each time I reslit that amount goes down.
Blues and plan drops are different and sell for a huge amount dependant on the drop. I tend to check out the market and sell for 1 cred less than the current lowest price.
I was a demon for using Auctioneer on WoW and it's followed me a little onto TOR. God help me when mods are available.

I finding the Flashpoints to be disappointing. The first was awesome (imperial) but the next three have been a complete letdown and nowhere near as good or polished. _________________ Shin J Leon.

^ haven't even touched a flashpoint after the first one. Mainly because when I'm on, no one else is on. _________________

I sort of agree.. Athis was so-so as was Hammerstation although I enjoyed Mandalorian Raiders because I just thought it was cool that we were invading a Mandalorian station.
I've also found Colicoid War Games to be pretty fun and different. Haven't played through Cademimu yet or Foundry and Border Patrol - I can never seem to find a group for those for some reason. _________________

Anyone else think huttball should be canned? Hate on it so much. Is there a way to choose between huttball and the capture point mission for warzone? _________________

click on the little icon under the minimap to the right. It will be the empire logo if you're playing sith. Then you basically join a queue and then it should either take you to huttball (urgh) or a capture the point map. _________________

I don't think there is. At least I haven't found one yet. Some people really love Huttball. Such people need watching.

Yeah Athiss and Hammer station were average. The level 30 2-parter flashpoints (Taral V Rep / Boarding Party Imp) and (Maelstrom Prison Rep / Foundry Imp) were MUCH better and had a lot more story to them then the rest. Quite a few little treats in them too for those that played KOTOR.

seems after the newest patch, if your net drops out the who client shuts down. Dropped out 5 times within 30minutes. Stupidly annoying especially when you're nearly finished a dungeon only to have it place you back at the start when you reconnect. Entering the security key every time gets old too, but I'm too paranoid to remove it.
*edit* seems the client and website isnt accepting my security key anymore. _________________

The game is 'released ' in Asia n March first, along with our own region for servers. FAQ here: http://www.swtor.com/info/faq/game#q400115
It has been confirmed that anypme registered as their home being in Australia or New Zealnd will qulify for free transfer for existing toons to the new Oceanic servers, and also (not in the faq, via Twitter) that you could t'fer from PvP to PvE and vice versa.

So who's migrating over to the Oceanic servers? I'm only recently 50 and just joined a guild but I think I might move over to find a guild w/ more suitable raiding times. _________________

I'll be going. Still waiting to see if any have been named and any cherry picked by any large group of Aussie players.

So I was on Alderaan this morning and took a look at the population counter and thought "I felt a disturbance in the Force, as if 24 voices were silenced at once..."
Didn't quite have the same ring to it.

So yeah, Australia launch is coming and the ability to change servers. You guys thinking of jumping ship? I wonder if the servers will be in Australia or Asia?
I have to admit I stopped playing the game as much. I find the game is a complete time sucker. _________________ Shin J Leon.

I'm definitely thinking of switching over to an AU server. My ping can pretty bad sometimes so I'd like the stable and low pings - especially in PVP. I also hope the populations on both sides are large though. My current server (Droogba's Pleasure Barge) has more Imps than Repubs which makes for A LOT of Huttball. I know Voidstar and Civil War need to be Imp vs. Repub but it would be nice if they could make other warzones just like that that aren't faction vs. faction based. _________________

Whoa, in oz. Defn moving then. It would be nice to have a lag free experience (it's certainly playable but it does have a lag factor).
