This is pretty awesome just being free from all the extra stuff. I pretty much have fell into using giant warhammer. I might change the iron thing and switch it to whatever I find or make but for now iron it is. I named him Jekel the Mad and I'm playing him as a pychopath. I murder whoever I find dam the consequences. I forget just how scary the game is at lower levels. It feels like everything can kill me. Also I regret not using heavy armor as it's quite powerful. I feel like a tank.

The staggering perk for dual-cast destruction spells is more useful than I imagined.

Now I firebolt or fireball an enemy, then charge forward and finish them off with the sword while they're still stumbling around. Fun times.

The Dark Brotherhood quests... I just got up to what I can only describe as a pivotal moment in that quest chain and... wow... just... wow.

This game is so, so good.

Dark Brotherhood still remains as my favourite quest line in that game, as it was in Oblivion too. Pretty amazing ending to it all.

Also I just found even more new ruins and voices of power. Also an incredible Daedric Artifact quest. Seriously, how much content does this game actually have? O_o

I've done sidequests in this game that have more content (and hours of play time to complete) than other entire video games.

Complete map of all Skyrim locations with grid lines and detailed terrain. An enlarged image is also available for download from that site too.

Exploring the depths of the sea, find two skeletons floating about with some loot and a journal. Read through the journal and find that it was two fishermen just out in the icy northern area looking for some good catches, then their boat managed to sink and they froze to death icon_sad.gif

The little touches like this...man. I can't get enough of this game.

You know you've been playing too much Skyrim when you see some purple flowers outside the NightOwl and your first thought is "I should pick those, they could be useful for alchemy ingredients." icon_lol.gif

I know that feel bro.

It happens every single time, I'm on my way somewhere, see a bush with flowers and I'm instantly alert to the fact that it is an unharvested bush and that it requires harvesting.

In other Skyrim news, this just made my day (linked due to naughty words). Seriously, that is my second playthrough right there.

I can see it happening with enchants. Seriously it is so goddamned broken at max. 40% increase to my 2h and sneak on two piece of armour? HAH!

I'm going to make another Khajiit for that melee craziness.

Patch 1.2 on PC fixes some issues, breaks others.

Also, killed some of my mods.

Awesome.

Alright double post for fixes for the PC Crowd:

If you are having issues with this new patch in any way, download these files as they contain the reverted files from previous patch.

If the link goes down let me know and I'll do an upload of my own. Be aware that the exe is 1.1 patch, not 1.0, so Large Address Aware users might have to use the 4GB Skyrim mod or grab a backup of the original .exe.

I hope they don't try to "balance" the game. Finding the tons of ways to break the game is far more fun than never feeing powerful.

I'm so glad that Blood Dragon thought that a passing mub-crab was the larger threat... before it destroyed my face.

From that, to one that just hovers out of arrow range and won't fucking aggro.

This game... !

Aww, I can't stay mad at you baby... c'mere and lay some sweet moon sugar on me.

I'm finding that i keep wanting to start over. But I've already put over 70 hours on this character. And I've barely discovered half the map, let alone done the multitudes of quests there are. But I spent some perks where I don't really want them any more, and I know how to make my dude more badass then what he is.

I fell into that trap after losing my first Oblivion char to it's bullshit skill/level system - after that I just kept making new chars with different skilling combos/plans, getting a little way in, and then going OH WAIT BUT WHAT ABOUT... !

Basically, I never got a char past about level 10 and then gave up on the game as a bad idea. But hey, Skyrim hasn't turned my char into a redundant, useless sack of virtual flesh yet, so here's hoping I take her all the way through to the 'end' (luls... this game won't end).
