This is a topic where you can discuss avatars and signatures.
Please find below the signature guidelines for PALGN:
Signature Guidelines:
Every member is allocated a little bit of space to add a signature to their post, this signature will be applied to the bottom of every post and is a good way for forumers to identify each other. To stop clutter we have the following guidelines for signatures:
File Size Maximum: 40KB.
Dimensions Maximum: 550x110 pixels.
Two lines of text if you have a full size picture, obviously more if you don't.
Avatars:
Underneath most of our forumer's names are little icons with pictures, names or cartoons on them. These are called avatars. We're happy for you to link to an avatar and avatars can be uploaded from the Edit Profile option. The only conditions of avatars is that they must be no larger than 90x90 pixels with a maximum file size of 25KB and they must be family friendly. If they are offensive in any way, shape or form then your avatar may be removed.

Shame the other thread folded, it was up to page 98.It was getting a fair work out though with all sorts of random crap.
Might be a good idea to copy+paste the sig/av rules in your post to Luke so newbs don't have to look far.

Re-l gets the boot in favour of an old Baiken avatar, and new sig.
Still not 100% happy with it, but it'll do as a nice change of pace, and take my mind off the fact that I ordered Ergo Vol3 two goddamn weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived.

v Yeah looks much better facing out of the corner and nestles against the margin nicely, left to right compliments the reading flow too.

You got it, I reckon I may as well follow up, since you've been using a sig that I made all this time.
Edit: Man, that ended up taking me a while. I made my own chocobo footprint brush for the name, and got some new brushes for the background:

Edit2: OK Cro, that sounds fair, I just thought yellow tracks would suit the chocobo theme better. I think I'll change them to a darker colour then.
Here we go:
They look like they're tracks in the mud/ground now.
döppelganger: Hmm, I haven't installed that filter, I must look into it.  I'll try what you said though. I don't want the tracks to be scattered though, I want it to look like the chocobo that made the tracks for his name walked off in that direction and is now standing in the foreground.

Well, I updated the sig. I noticed a slight issue with the image cropping. That is now fixed.

I like the idea of the brush there ad, but the colour is too vibrant for the rest of the sig.
Charly.. once again that is hot. I have to get a Charly made sig soon.

Charly. Sublime. That chocobo looks finger licken' gooD!
Ads if you're using CS try out 'scattering' and 'shape dynamics' in the "brushes palette" to randomise your footprints.
For a sunken in the mud effect make the colour brown and use the "layer style" bevel and emboss tool.
Then you'll have to use the "out-chocobo Charly" filter, without it there'll be no topping her effort.

446 x 177 pixels.
you need to trim it's height significantly.
