Was going to get that baby off Zavvi but it is just out of that sweet spot price point for my liking. _________________

if your importing it from the US then use it on the US store , if your importing it from EU then - maybe - if not use it on the EU store. _________________

Cheers. I bit the Zavvi offer. It probably is a bit overpriced when you consider the price of the regular copy but still..... I've also pre-ordered the super dooper $200 Skyrim CE from GAME so I'm going to be out $300 in November, yay! That said I'm really looking forward to them so it should take the sting out of it a little bit. _________________

| Quote: | Kojima Hopes MGS, Metal Gear Solid Will Continue Without Him
Hideo Kojima has been involved with the Metal Gear Solid franchise for over two decades. He's managed to sneak in development on some other IPs such as Zone of the Enders, but he always finds himself coming back to Metal Gear.
While Kojima was speaking at USC earlier this week, Kojima stated that he "would love to have the Metal Gear Solid series continue" after he dies and that he will continue to work on Metal Gear Solid if fans want to see new titles in the series.
"First of all, I just want to say that as long as there are fans who want Metal Gear Solid, as a producer, I will always want to still make them and I want the series to continue. So even after I die, I still would love to have the Metal Gear Solid series continue.
"But as a creator, of course, I want to do something new, and I don't want to be limited to Metal Gear forever, right? So of course I have tried in the past. I've tried to hand Metal Gear off to other people within the studio and I've tried to raise people up so they have the ability to take over. And I think since Metal Gear Solid 3 I've tried this and actually did hand it off and have other people come up with the story and come up with the game design. But for some reason it just never really works out. And, you know, I end up having to step in again to take charge and kind of fix things here and there and just get sucked back in unfortunately." |
Sounds like we don't need to worry about whether there will be more MGS games in future (as long as they continue to sell). Kojima really has done a great job with the series. _________________

IIRC the modified doesn't necessarily mean it was censored, just that it was resubmitted to the Classification Board. _________________

because it wouldn't be an MGS release without some sort of delay.
it's keeping the flavour of the series alive. _________________

I'm glad it was delayed. At least that removes one game from the large list of Oct/Nov games I want. _________________ Welcome to the internet. Where any joke can turn into WWIII.

Looks like MGS2 for me at least might be a hard platinum.I think you have to beat it on Extreme (which I have done before) to get one of the wigs.So that will be hard and beating all VR/Alternate Missions and coming first in 50 might be hard.
MGS3 on the other hand sounds like a very easy plat.
Never played PW so I don't know how hard that game will be. _________________ Welcome to the internet. Where any joke can turn into WWIII.
