| Quote: | Off the back of the price drops in the US, Europe and Japan announced overnight at GamesCom, PlayStation Australia has confirmed to IGN AU that the RRP of its PlayStation 3 console is also set to drop locally.
As of August 22, you'll be able to pick up the 160GB PS3 model for $349.95 RRP (that's a drop of $150 from the previous $499.95 RRP), and the 320GB model will now be priced at $449.95 (also a saving of $150 off the previous $599.95 RRP).
PlayStation Australia has also confirmed that the new PSP-E1000 model will be available in Australia later this year (tentatively in November), priced at $139.95 RRP. |

Isn't that still way too expensive? I only paid $430 for a Slim on launch bundled with Batman AA at Dick Smith. Still seems like the same price at launch to me, but with an extra 40GB that probably won't be used.

The only difference I know of with the new PSP is that it doesn't have WiFi... _________________
