Right now I'm drinking this:
Half a glass of Midori and Vodka and then filled with lemonade.
I'm buying more bourbon tomorrow.
I like exam study time now that I live out of home. It normally includes alcohol and loud music. _________________

If you study drunk, you should do exams drunk. I shit you not, it helps to recall information if you are in the same state as when you were learning it. _________________

Well my exam tomorrow consists of 2 hours to write an essay. Those are my normal conditions for essay writing anyway. I could show up wasted as **** and still pass without a problem. _________________

What I like, is how this started as a discussion on whether drinking alcohol is a positive thing or not and has now basically turned into AA without a counselor. It's just a bunch of drunks in a room sharing war stories, lol.
And FeralOni, I have no idea what or where the pirahna markets are but I like cheap ass cocktails even if I have to fight off fish to get them.

Hey! I'm not an alcoholic. Alcoholics need a drink, whereas I already have one... _________________

Yeah this also applies for pub pool or club snooker. The best players are always drunk when they play there best. Play them when there sober and they suck! _________________

+ for the reference!
I only recently acquired the complete collection of Red Dwarf, I remember watching the shows that my dads friend had recorded on VCR from the TV. Such a good program! _________________ Want cutting-edge Australian video game journalism with a friendly community? Click here!

Drinking is fun! I hated beer when I first started drinking. So I started drinking those premixed lolly drinks. I stopped drinking them as much when one of my male friends offered to refill my pineapple lolly drink.
Then one day an amazing person told me that I should drink cider. I had my first cider and it was sweet and bitter at the same time something I could handle. I drink cider all the time now because
1. It's cheap
2. It tastes awesome
Even cheap nasty cider tastes better then cheap nasty beer. And the really good thing about cider is that if you drink enough to get drunk you can start drinking beer and you don't even realise you are drinking beer thus saving ever more money!
THIS IS A JOKE!! ---------->
Another good saving tip is to let boys feel you up so you can get a free drink. Or get really drunk and start stealing other people's drinks. Works everytime. Everyone is so wasted noone really knows what anyone is really doing.
<--------- A JOKE!
On another note
Here is a drink that I've created with some friends of mine.
Canadian Lumberjack
- Canadian Club
- Maple Syrup
- Beiber Blood
- Wood Shavings
All mixed together in a wooden drink mixer!

I will do a revival for a little lunch time at work rant.
The other day, I was out with a group of people. Being the kind person that I am to be nice, I drank to make others happy.
Anyhow, that night, I have 3 cups of Blue Lagoon and 2 cup of that Mexican beverage that starts with S and it tasted so bad, I gave in because people keep ordering alcohol and since the bill is split evenly, guess I should try it out (since I will be paying $20 more than the amount I've ordered). Blue Lagoon was a tad sweet but that could just be because I don't drink soft drink often so I am a bit sensitive to sweetness. Blue Lagoon was nice, I will give it that but I had better. That drink that starts with S though... blergh! the fruit punch I had was better.
In summary, these expensive alcoholic beverage aren't something I will miss out on. Personally I still don't see what's the big deal with drinking. _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

Around the start of the year, at an anime convention, I got plastered quite badly with some friends and long story short, in addition to the usual puking my intestines into the toilet, I really got messed up mentally and lost quite a lot of self-confidence after that by being hit with some reality.
After that convention, I decided to go straight edge and while I'm not battling with the temptation of drinking, some difficulties come from some of the people I interact with whom are less than supportive of my lifestyle. When some of these people, friends included, find out I've turned a new leaf and am straight edge now, they immediately assume I'm some hardliner who follows the whole "Straight edge means I'm better than you" mentality when I'm actually indifferent to drinking and couldn't care less if they drink or not. _________________

I fit into the straight edge category, but it is not something I actively strive for so I do not label myself like that. There is a bad stigma regarding straight edge especially in American culture, thanks to some who think they need to aggresively put their beliefs forward. It is strange that t is like that because the straight edge/hardcore/punk scene/s are built on being whoever you want to be and accepting others for who they want to be. I think you should just go about life how you want, no neeed to label yourself in any kind of group.
The same stigma revolves around a lot of those groups, skinheads in particular. The first skinheads originally had no particular political or racial leanings, but these days it is generally associated withr racism and neo-nazi. General public perceptions for the lose. _________________

I've got no problem with people making the decision not to drink or whatever, but labelling yourself as 'edge will do nothing but make people think you're a hardliner.
Kudos, etc. for making a change in your life, but there's no need to identify yourself as being edge and (rightfully) copping the connotations that go along with that.

Agreed RE: There's no reason to identify as 'Straight Edge' unless you're trying to make a point out of it. Stereotypes are just that, but they all come from somewhere...
Reminds me of a joke:
How many straight edge kids does it take to drink a six-pack?

That's the thing, whenever I hang out with people who aren't aware of my change, they'll do something like pester me to no end to have a drink with them and what not. That's when I have to tell them of my change of lifestyle. I end up having to make point just to get them to stop(I'm a blunt person and I won't sugarcoat things). So basically yes, I do have to say it to make a point. However I don't go actively preaching like CM Punk's heel character(lol) that I follow the straight edge lifestyle at every single opportunity I get.
Lastly, at Jahanzeb: CM Punk has actually been quite an inspiration for me to stay on this path. His overall success by following the lifestyle and his face persona are great examples for anyone. When I saw him at Summerslam Axxess, people were giving him flak for the lifestyle and I just loved how he'd put them in their place and shut em up. ^^; _________________
