What's with the old style Memory Stick? Haven't seen those for years, and hell, sony are phasing out MS Pro Duo from a lot of their products now in favour of SDHC/SDXC...

^They still have a fair few products with a MS Pro Duo/SDHC products though during the phrasing out period. I assume they do this for PSP1 owners?. However, is that a Memory Stick in the picture?!? I haven't seen them since.... *does not remember*
When I saw the PSP2 pic, first impression... "I hope it comes with a grip".

My assumption is that the memory stick will be what they stick games sold at retail on and the SD card for media/downloaded titles.

^ Yeah those analog sticks look like they could be quite difficult(ache inducing) without some sort of grip.
To be honest I'm pretty sceptical of that image, looks really professional but may well prove to be another hoax, I guess we'll know pretty soon now though.

It looks like a mock up of the PSP Phone....I dunno, looks fake.
Compare it with leaked images from last year.....although it was also stated that the design might change or has changed, so maybe it is that. Only a few more days.

They will be or at least it's been stated in every single rumour that they will. To release the console without a physical medium would kill any sort of support at a retailer level, just like the PSPGo.

Yeah, one thing Sony has confirmed is that a physical presence in shops is necesscary - so expect to see games on store shelves - if for no other reason than advertising. Personally, I didn't mind downloading games on my PSP Go. My only gripe is that there were quite a few titles that never got released as downloads.

Don't mock the iGames. They are seriously have as much *depth* as other apparently real portables. It shames the crap out of Nitnendo and Sony's online model for portable games.

I've played them, and they don't. They're either simple, addictive fun or a complete mess. You don't get things like Crisis Core on iPhone.

There are so many different versions of the "official" design of the PSP2 around now. This one is just the most believable so far..
Never been interested in the PSP from the very beginning and still not interested in it now. Nintendo are still producing the innovative hand-helds that I consider worthy of my pocket change..

Fake.
I find it hard to believe they would use a resistive touchscreen when it's all about multi-touch capacitive these days.
I also struggle to believe Sony would revert back to using Memory Sticks, which they phased out years ago in favour of the Memory Stick Pro Duos you see in the PSP.
