Google Search - site propogation

THEMAN

Anyone know how to get this thing to push the website so it shows up on the search engine. Put a website up 2-3 weeks ago and its still not showing up. I submiited it to the crawlers via their submit a webpage option and still nothing.

if you're serious about it you can hire companies to fiddle around with your website to get it as high as it can be.

Costs a fair bit though.

Couldn't you make you'r own free forum that has google bots and spam the hell out of your own forum?

There is a couple of free forums that automatically have web crawlers on them, can;t remember which ones

I was under the impression that you can pay google to be a top search result for certain search criteria. That is, you pay google a fee and eveytime someone searches for 'THEMAN' or 'THE MAN' your site is at the top of the list.

I don't know too much about this, but I think that google looks at sites linking back to your website and makes a formula based on that. So an easy way to do this is to create a twitter and facebook account for your website and have this linking back. Obviously if you can get sister sites to promote you, that will work as well, but facebook and twitter are obviously more established sites.

What you're looking for is information on SEO - search engine optimisation.

There are a lot of courses teaching this kind of thing but I believe the information is available freely on the internet.
