As long as its not canon and Freddy is not involved in the story, I don't see anything wrong with his inclusion. After thinking on it, Freddy's inclusion is not too surprising since Warner Bros owns the rights to the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. As long as Freddy is fun to use, I'll be fine with that. _________________

Even more than that...
On the real, I definitely agree. None of those Marvel characters originated in a fighting game and there was no problem basing an entire fighter around them. I don't see anything different about Freddy's (or Kratos' for that matter) inclusion. _________________

Actually I think Servbot, roll and the weird fucking cactus thing were the weirder choices for MVC 2.
I actually think Freddy is a weirdly perfect fit for MK. I mean the whole weird fantasy universe, the gore, the style. It works pretty well. He fits in a lot better then Kratos does or the Star Wars characters in Soul Calibur 4 _________________

Does anyone know if the Kiwi version was an actual release or just an imported Euro/US version? _________________
