I'm in the market for a 24" 1080P monitor, currently looking at the models below as they seem like a good deal for the price, but I don't know much about Benq. I'm hoping to spend less than $300. Also hoping to find one with a 2ms response time and good dynamic contrast ratio, but I know there is a limit when your spending less than $300.

Any recommendations would be great,
Cheers

So these are the three I'm looking at since I don't know any better.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330479784716&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT - BenQ G2420HD - $216

http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/monitor-dell-st2420l?c=au&l=en&s=dhs&cs=audhs1 - Dell ST2420L LED - $279

http://www.megabuy.com.au/benq-240w-2ms-1920x1080-300nits-50k1-dsubdvidhdmi-p144236.html?utm_source=getprice&utm_medium=cpc - Benq E2420HD - $304 Posted

Is the Dell or BenQ E2420HD worth it for the bigger price? The BenQ E seems like the best and it has 4 USB Ports, and VGA in which I like. But the Dell seems like a good deal also. I'm not sure if the BenQ G has a 2ms response time either.

Cheers

I have a BenQ, slightly older model though. There is some backlight bleed on mine if you look at it on an angle but otherwise I can't complain.

I do have to laugh at their 16:9 to 16:10 comparisons though on that first one. See my monitor is 16:10, you know what I do? I just set games to 1920x1200 instead of 1920x1080, problem solved.

I'm going to be very glad when this "Full HD" ******** is gone.

I have this:

http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=mc8pQmWdM367LRpQ

I got mine from MSY, they don't sell that particular model anymore, but there is an ASUS VE248H for $248, http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf

From a quick google, it looks similar but with more features
