Does not need the 64 releases, really needed world and yoshis island for it to really be a complete awesome 25 game.
However 40 for all stars....i think not. $19.95 yes though

Yeah but 20th mario was all about the famicom/nes, 25th should be all about the snes and the 30th should be about the 64
And as much as i love mario 64, i wouldn't play it on the big screen these days, perfect on my dsi

Bloody Super Mario All-Stars. We ran an order of 14,000 boxes for Nintendo a few days ago at work for this game(s). _________________

why is everyone buying the same game over and over again - don't you know what msg you are sending nintendo?
i just dont understand fans sometimes... they love their series so much they have to support it through thick and thin like 15 pro evos, 10 tony hawks, 10 guitar heroes... even when the whole time its the same game.... this wouldnt have happened in the NES days... _________________

You want to know why I'll buy it? I never owned a SNES, if I feel like getting a copy of All-Stars on SNES, I'll refuse to buy it unboxed which will require a $40+ layout, I'll have to buy a SNES which will be another $50+ layout (although I'm looking at doing that anyway) and I really would like that OST.
So yeah, I'll be buying this, as well as getting the red Wii so that I have a wii to take with me when I move out. _________________

Kind of poor form, as there is nothing to indicate that the graphics are improved, meaning it actually contains LESS than a SNES game, which came with these four games and world. If it had world I'd consider $30, but for what it is may as well buy it off the virtual console. _________________

bad examples, all of those at least have some changes between games. now if you used final fantasy or sonic, that's a different story. there's a big difference between continually rereleasing games and releasing what you consider to be the same game multiple times. _________________

Where did people get these SNESs packed in with an All Stars + World cartridge they keep claiming to have? I got my SNES, like, 3 years after it came out, and still only got it with the regular All Stars cartridge, and had to wait until my next birthday to get World as its own cartridge.
7 year old me feels incredibly ripped off, I could have had one more game in my SNES collection.

The thing is though, since All Stars itself will clearly never be released on the Virtual Console now, you'd have to buy 4 individual NES games to get whats on here. Aren't NES games about $8 a pop? So to get 4, you'd be spending $32 anyways.
I do wish we had gotten a better deal, though. _________________

I wish it had more like everyone here but $40 for 4 games, a music CD and a history of book is worth it imo.
Of course I'm pretty much a collector and I like books on the history of games and game soundtracks so for $40 it's worth it to me.

This will be the first time I have bought (well really my mum and her friend) these games since they came with my SNES some 15 or so years ago. _________________ Welcome to the internet. Where any joke can turn into WWIII.

I have to agree with the voice of dissent here. You shouldn't be encouraging Nintendo to pump out shovelware - this is a massive rip-off.

Wondering... will the games be widescreen? Will there be a graphical improvement due to the Wii's component connection?
I mean, I'm getting this for the box and book, because I'm crazy like that. I still have my SNES and my copy of All Stars, but composite connection on a 50" plasma probably isn't the best idea... I dunno. _________________

The games 'support' 16:9, but add black bars to the left and right while keeping the original aspect ratio of the game. Other than that its a 100% direct port of the SNES release of Super Mario All-Stars. _________________
