Wii Sid Meier's Pirates! 15/12/2010 Provisional
This has already been released. I must admit I kinda girly squealed when I saw it (EB). I wasn't aware they were re-doing it for the wii. I loved the original, and although i was let down by the xbox remake, it was exciting to see it live on.

Is Rock Band 3 really coming out 21/10??
anyone know how much the set will be?
I know there is a new guitar and keyboard, will there be new drums?
and how much will it be in australia?

Im sceptical, is Rock Band 2 isn't even out in Australia yet?
In any case, even the states wont be getting the full pro guitar (6 string) until the end of the year.

Well more good news Castlevania has been delayed again!!! EB and Game are now saying this won't be out until 19 October.
Also despite the ads in Gameinformer stating 'check out the great pre-order deals at your local retailer now' there have been NO pre-order deals anywhere! Whoever is handling the release of this game in Australia is doing a really bad job.

EB have some sort of 'exclusivity' on the instruments. From memory its $130 for the Keyboard/Key-tar, Pro Guitar and Pro-Drums are both $288, and the midi adapter is about $70. the Game is full price there.

^^ so there are no bundles with instrument and game??
gee pro guitar seems a bit riduculous - who's going to buy guitar and game for almost $400 when 5 buttons on a guitar is already hard enough for most people

Standard fare for Konami titles over here, sadly. The run of CV titles from GBA to DS barely got a release here at all, with SFA stock initially, and no re-stockings... Atari handled it then, sounds like the new mob are doing just as poorly.

True. That's why I end up importing quite a few games (e.g. demons souls). At least they're region free on the PS3 which gives me this option I guess.

Mindscape are horrible. I've hardly seen there games in stores. End up importing the last Silent Hill since it was taking them so long to get the game over here.

Something interesting coming up next year is that EVE Online will be finally giving the ability for players to walk around the stations they dock at. How far reaching this actually goes in terms of gameplay is anyone's guess at this point as EVE Online itself is not a FPS or 3PS shooter. That is what DUST is about..
..At the moment they are testing their new character creation tools, which will be required to take the next step into that realm of things because up till now the character creation tools have only been for setting the character's portrait. With the new tools, they will be allowing the setting of the entire body.
Still.. it's not till next year that we will see this, walking around stuff, added to the game proper, with the character creation tools going live with the next expansion later this year.
