A friend lives up stairs, he has a PC its oldish, I've tried pulling the PCI cards out and running it, same without the ram, I've reset the BIOS, the DVD Drive wont open, I turn the power on and it freezes right at the start all i get to see is Acer and hit the ESC button to go into the BIOS wont work, the only button that works on the keyboard is CAPS Lock and NUM lock, I'm thinking that its completely over heating from the word go cause that was a previous problem.
Any and all help please _________________

Have you tried checking if the processor is properly seated onto the motherboard? Have you also tried having a large fan blow onto the open computer to see if it'll get further into the stages of booting?
