Good news for the guy (or gal) who bought every single item available over the PlayStation Network in 2011: You saved $1,200. Sony just released a list of everything the service offered this year and the results are pretty impressive.
Overall, Sony offered 17 free games to Plus members. That’s full retail releases like Tomb Raider: Underworld, mind you. The service offered four game betas (Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Resistance 3, Uncharted 3 and SOCOM 4), six early access demos, 43 full-game trials and discounts on 132 PS3 games. That’s not even counting the elevated sales discounts, free PlayStation One Classics titles and themes. The free PS3 games and add-ons amounted to $200 in savings overall, according to Sony reps.
It kind of makes me wonder what I’m paying Microsoft $60 a year for. |

Since I am moving out and I'm letting my sister has the PS3 (don't worry, I have access to another one ), I just painfully copied all my game saves to the Playstation Plus Saved Games cloud. I really wished there was a "Copy all to the cloud" option so I didn't have to triangle-copy-wait-move-*repeat*.
Can't say I had the automatic games saves update working but then I tried and cheat by setting a time range where current time is in, set a game to have the save auto-upload, turn off the system and expected the saves to be update but it didn't. I left auto-update off anyway because if the PS3 gets turned on, it will turn on the tv and change the input video source to the PS3, not so great for technology illiterates who doesn't know what is happening.
The saves that is copy protected was the DJ Hero and Guitar Hero:WT.
