I've only seen a handful of those films, but those ones I've seen:
Boyz N The Hood
The Blues Brothers
Ferris Buellers Day Off
Walk The Line
8 Mile
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Juno
Garden State
Pulp Fiction
Dazed and Confused
High Fidelity
Trainspotting
Almost Famous
are all deserving movies, though I would've put The Blues Brothers higher up into the top 20 _________________ RIP Buddha 19/10/1952 - 03/01/2004

I've watched:
The Blues Brothers
Ferris Beullers Day Off
Where The Wild Things Are
8 Mile
Blur: No Distance Left to Run
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Juno
Beastie Boys: I Shot That!
Pretty in Pink
Garden State
Gimme Shelter
Pulp Fiction
No Direction Home
Dazed and Confused
High Fidelity
This is Spinal Tap
Trainspotting
Some Kind of Monster
Almost Famous
Anvil: The Story of Anvil
One thing I did feel about the whole list was that it should have been done differently. Personally if they're talking about music in movies it shouldn't have had any Doco's in it. That should be a seperate list. When I clicked on it I was expecting to be barraged by a collection of films with soundtracks that gel so well with them it's impossible to have one without the other. Instead 75 percent of the list were documentaries on bands that are fantastic musicians... obviously the music is going to be good in said documentaries, that's what the thing is about.
So yeah, should have gone either doco's or movies, not both.

I have the bluray for CONTROL and I've yet to watch it but I'd think it would fall right into this category. That and the one about Johnny Cash (ah walk the line). I have the dvd for that. Also unwatched
I'd kill for the entire wes anderson films on bluray. Love them all.
I think 24 hour party people about the manchester music scene was great.
*LOL. I typed before I checked the link and the 2 films I listed are no.3 + no.1
