I am at the other side of the house, using one of those wireless USB thingos. Gets the job done.

Seriously? How the F**K are you getting ~70Mbits/sec? What kind of internet do you have....

Unfortunately I live over 5km away from exchange so my speeds are greatly decreased.

ahaha does that mean my e-penis is equivalent to an elephant's trunk?
I think it's an anomaly. I'm too scared to do another check though and see my real worth =P

The results of another speed test:
No, I have no idea what's going on either... _________________ My Photos

InvivnI, are you secretly stealing some large business's internet connection? Cause it sure seems like it.....(what with ADSL2+ only being like 20MBits/sec at the best) _________________

Just because the figure being reported is that high, doesn't mean it actually is. Speedtests aren't entirely accurate, as can be seen below, a result I got a while back:
Whilst my ADSL2+ is physically connecting at ~18Mbps/1Mbps

These things are never accurate anyway, you are better off looking at the routers sync speeds
I am happy that I am not on 512k anymore was on it for years. This connection never drops out. Once in six months _________________

We have Optus Cable Internet, which should have a theoretical maximum of around 30Mb/s... so clearly something's wrong with the test... unless we're in some super-secret fast broadband area...
I've never noticed super high-speed downloads or anything, likely because the download speed is restricted by the servers I download from anyway. _________________ My Photos

For those getting massive anomalies, see what you get downloading from steam, torrents, or a different speedtest site. _________________

It'll be Optus' proxy server having cached most the downloads from that site it then reports your download from the proxy to the website to generate the result.
