Holy crap, what names. WiiHD is here, minus Nintendo.
The SUBCONTROLLER?!?!?!??!?
GDC 2010. Just was on.

So long as Sony don't go chasing that market too hard, I'm fine. Don't loose focus now Sony. You've been doing too well recently to fuck it up now. _________________

^ Just watched the press conference, Move seems great, somewhat excited, albeit the titles showcased, being rather average titles. Nonetheless a very good move by Sony strategically, pardon the pun ^_^.
In my opinion, Sony does seem to have the more sensible tech out of the 3 companies pioneering Motion Control. The use of the camera+gyro seems too allow much more freedom/accuracy than what Nintendo has to offer, whilst offering a rather important factor in Motion gaming - tactile feedback, which Natal lacks.
But personally, the game lineup they demo'ed at GDC was a snooze-fest. I understand that the Socom 4 demo was really just to illustrate the ease of integration, however I don't really see the point in tacking on Motion control schemes on to existing games, when they could have used the tech to offer a much more immersive experience.
Sony should look hard into pursuing Motion gaming in a fresh direction and certainly not forget the seasoned gamer, the last thing we need is another wii sports/ resort..

Tacking on motion controls to existing games might not be inspiring but the more games that support move at launch the more successful it will be.

I love the Kevin Butler advertisements and thought that the above advertisement was great yet perhaps a little too upfront. I assume another Move ad would be produced for television markets closer to release. _________________ Putting the pro back in alien probing techniques.

I agree, it's still a little too early to start advertising the Move in my opinion, I'm actually surprised they made an ad so soon.
Oh, and for anyone who is interested in the Kevin Butler series of ads, see http://www.youtube.com/user/KevinButlerVP _________________

I was actually going to start a post about Kevin Butler so that everybody can see them. The ads are terrific but I'm disappointed that Australia doesn't get them on our airwaves.
I think that the Move advertisement might have actually been just a mock-ad by the company that produces the advertisements (Deutsch LA for those wondering) simply to show the product. I don't doubt that this will air but I do doubt it would be the product's main ad. _________________ Putting the pro back in alien probing techniques.

Surprisingly I am really looking forward to these.
My only issue is the button placement, it looks like it could be quite uncomfortable, but maybe I am just used to the usual diamond layout and could be pleasantly surprised.
