Deffintly take cash, a lot of the big stalls have eftpos now but most of the litteler ones and pretty much all the artists only have stuff for cash.

They generally have ATMS onsite but I'd make sure you bring cash beforehand cause they run dry quickly.

Sif go there and not check out the comics.

I've never been to Supanova before so I'll probably be going to the perth one this year. I went to Manifest in Melbourne last year and I had a good laugh at how much some stalls were charging for some R1 dvd's which were easily available online for under half the price. I'm assuming it'll be the same at Supanova.

Well I was looking forward to going to Supanova in Sydney, then I checked the website.

Only to find that Cary Elwes had to cancel his appearance for Sydney and Perth.

Well that's me then, I probably won't be going now.

Cash, I don't remember any stalls having eftpos, and there was only 1 ATM in the near vicinity with about 50 people queuing up at any one time of the day (Sydney). I just bit the bullet and didn't buy anything, fuck that $2 fee.

My store will be attending both Sydney and Perth Supanova.

www.tamarket.com.au is my website / store.

I believe dloiscute and Jahanzeb will be making an apperance at Supanova Sydney, I believe they will be holding hands and touching each inappropriately (or appropriately depending on how you view things) and making ZeroX03 insanely jealous.

I've already met Zero at the Melbourne convention and gave him a "gift".. OH YEAH! Several "gifts". icon_smile.gif

Wow, that's something new, never knew you had a store, let alone tamarket.

I had a Supanova drought lately but have planned to go with my friends to this year Supanova Sydney. Since I don't have room at home do to this, I don't think I will be making a costume this year and not sure should I be re-wearing the ones I had in the past so it will be my first time in Supanova costumeless if I recall correctly. I call myself a costumer as I'm no cosplayer, I have a stage fright icon_wink.gif

Past experience of Supanova shows I seem to only surrender my money to cute stuff like a plush for shopping. I rarely spend big though as it isn't easy to carry my ordinary clothes+shopping stuff.

Preparations for Sydney Supanova have started over here.

Organizing some promotional mouse mats... perhaps a few series may look familiar to some.

Was helping out a stall at the Melbourne Supernova, regret not bringing my copy of Evangelion 1.11 Bluray with me, could have gotten it signed by both the Japanese and English voice actors of Asuka T.T

Asuka isn't really in Eva 1.11, she only appears right at the end after the credits in the "next movie" bit for about 2 seconds. icon_razz.gif

Asuka is obviously more prominent in Eva 2.22, so you probably should get that bluray signed instead.

I'll be at the Perth Supanova when Shadowloo Showdown happens - maybe you can call on LeonJ? But I hear he's a bit shy.

Maybe I'll have more Tekken figures when Manifest comes around.

Sydney rules, we had Supanova first icon_razz.gif . Still tossing up between wearing my Rinoa or Lenne from Final Fantasy series costume or for the first time ever in Sydnova, be a random background character. Hmmm, if only I had the time to do a White Mage costume I always wanted to do.

Plus side for not being in a costume, I have less to carry, therefore, more shopping can be done (Ciel, hint hint for a discount, jks icon_razz.gif).

A little off-topic, but over the weekend I went to Melbourne MiniFest (it's a like a mini version of ManiFest) and I spent all 8 hours there, lol.

It was a fun-filled day with the usual anime, cosplay, karaoke (with no mics though) and video games (I didn't get to play much, unfortunately).
Here are some pics that I took, sorry about the the old camera quality.

Anyway, I unfortunately will be missing out on Supernova Sydney, but will instead attend the more low-key ManiFest. icon_biggrin.gif

There's always time for cosplay. White Mage? Maybe this White Mage?

But before you think, that's going to be a bit hard to cosplay... here's one that was cosplayed eariler.

Ah, but you may feel a little nervous, perhaps if this cosplay was done with a familiar face? Maybe this could put you at ease?
