Yeah, I'm pretty pumped up about this fighter guys. It's like two of my most favorite things combined. Persona 4 with ArcSys style (BlazBlue?) mechanics. Now I just need them to include the girls eating ice cream.

While we're on the topic of Mitsuru and Akihiko,
Found out some info as to why they're in the tournament
Long story short:
Mitsuru: Went to Inaba to find something
Akihiko: Went travelling round the world in order to train and was invited to the tournament by Mitsuru

Tamashii Nations (a Japanese figure con) is home to a lot of announcements, and one of the biggest ones just dropped: Bandai is making figures for the complete main cast of Persona 4 and, very possibly, Persona 3 as well. Each is coming out in their D-Arts line, so they’ll likely be poseable as well.

So right now they have announced (hold on, it’s a bit long) the Persona 4 MC, Yukiko, Konohana Sakuya (Yukiko’s Persona), Chie, Naoto, Yosuke, Jiraya (Yosuke’s Persona), Kanji, Kintoki-Douji (Teddie’s Persona), the Persona 3 MC, Orpheus (the Persona 3 MC’s first Persona), and Thanatos. That’s quite a few figures, to say the least, and since they were already painted at the show, it’s very likely that they’ll be released soon. There are also a few glaring omissions in the Persona 4 line at this point (where’s Teddie?), but they’ll probably be announcing more in it after these releases.

Needless to say, I’m very excited about this. I’ve been waiting on my Chie figure for a long time now.

The outfits in P3P were great so I'm glad they're bringing them to The Golden.

Maybe it's just me but there's something strange about the graphics. It's like they're a mixture of PS3 and PS2 level graphics.

"Everyone's Voice" sounds like an intriguing feature but I wonder what it entails exactly...

Anyway I've been digging the Devil Survivor 2 OST. I am so hyped for this game that FFXIII-2 might have to take a back seat because the release dates are so close together icon_razz.gif.

This track sounds awesome, I think it's probably a mini-boss track.

Atlus Japan teases a new upcoming game we've "all been waiting for".

I don't think it can be Persona 5 because haven't they said it's already in development? Maybe Shin Megami Tensei 5 (this would be awesome)... The P2: Innocent Sin fans are saying it might be a remake/port of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment.

Man, those images are so pretty, can't wait till it's out as it looks as detailed as Blazblue in style anyway.
As for Devil Survivor 2, it's almost here. icon_biggrin.gif

I actually am hoping that the new Atlus game is a Snowboard Kids game akin to the original two games. They were some of the best racing games I've ever played, the DS version lacked something and ended up being enjoyable but forgettable.

New info and screenshots for Persona 4: The Golden!

Atlus released today a batch of information and screenshots of Persona 4: The Golden, that will hit the Japanese shelves this spring for the PS Vita.

Between the new events, a prominent one will be the ski trip, that will see the Investigation Team travel to a winter resort. Special cold weather costumes have also been added for the occasion.

A new battle system, the Simultaneous Attack, has been added as well, allowing two characters to attack together with devastating power when certain conditions are met. It can triggered once per battle.

There will be five levels of difficulty: “Safety”, “Easy”, “Normal”, “Hard” and the new “Risky”. A Dungeon Retry feature has been added to the levels between Safety and Hard.

Chie and Yosuke will also get two new evolutions for their persona. Finally, the “voice of the people” functionality has been added as a connectivity feature, allowing the player to read the “Action of the day” registered by other players.






















The game just keeps getting better and better! icon_smile.gif
