It's got a cool audio file that goes back to the very start of fall of rapture. Nice piece of Bioshock lore that the die hard fans will love, just be warned, alot of it is background chatter until the big surprise comes...

Finished. No way this game is 9/10. Plot was uninteresting. Game didn't even have interesting venues (aside from the 1 event in siren's alley). All the central protagonists in the sequel are underdeveloped and uninteresting.


SPOILERS/PLOT DISCUSSION


STANLEY/DP's end resolution makes no sense. So he hears Lamb talking and allows BD to board the train? He can't hear eleanor or does he really interact with you so it was just weird. It also made no sense you had to clear out DP of little sisters before you can advance. Whatever revelations you made by saving the sisters, was in your head. How that affected stanley in a palpable way = ?. weird

Sinclair being a big daddy + unable to control himself at the end is a STUPID TWIST. How come lamb didn't control him sooner? cognitively weak.

Eleanor is annoying and I didn't care for her. The big sister outfit twist that echoed game 1 was lame. Playing as the little sister was lame. The ressurection backstory from delta is also retarded.

Sophia lamb's motivations are really sort of pathetic and underdeveloped

tennanbaum aka most interesting person here is written out after act 2. Um, what happened to "I'm seeing what happens through your visor?"


They throw a bunch of plot things at you in the end but not one of them had the same palpable impact of "would you kindly". Not that this has to.. but what is here just wasn't very good. Or interesting. The gill fight + end fight so to speak were both


survive a horde of enemies.


which is just underwhelming.

---> The way I understood it was that you had to clear the 3 little sisters because they had sucked up the adam of the people who knew what had happened ie. Stanley being the real culprit, turning delta/elenaor into what they were, causing atlantis to be sunk etc etc. It was his way of covering up and unlocking the door for you.

-> The way I read this was that she was using him as her last ace up the sleeve, perhaps she was thinking that you wouldn't be able to kill him because you (the player) would be like o noes, I cant kill him, hes one of the good guys etc etc.

-> Why is the story retarted? Elenor sends a little sister to grab your dna and chuck it into a resurrection machine..it kinda makes sense..well makes more sense than what I originally though happened ; which was he just woke up in a pool of water 10 years later somehow..

-> Her motivation was to kill you and make Elenaor the perfect being able to contain the DNA of the geniuses of rapture, able to change as she pleased depending on the situation..or did I read that wrong.

-> Yeah, thats pretty much the only thing I agree with you about. Got to the credits and though..what the **** happened to tennanbaum? I thought she would be playing a much more important role in the game when I met her.

Well, I picked this up and I'm bitterly disappointed. It doesn't even feel like Bioshock, rather, some generic FPS set in some Rapture-esc universe. The combat is shallow and strung together with poor mechanics, the plot is weak and does not interest me in the slightest, even the graphics are very plain. I'll be returning this for Heavy Rain...
