Yeah, I've been trying to do that and I've had some rounds where I've done really well as a Recon, but in some of these tough games, I end up using the G3 to just try and rack up some easier kills.

Pro-tip - Use the motion mines as Defend/Attack points in Rush. You'll rack up a fair bit of motion mine assists, especially if the defending team are stupid and cluster up together at the m-com station.

Haha yeah, I totally forgot about that until recently. I'm almost at the M95 now (about 2K away), then it's off to finish unlocking the engineer stuff.

Anyone care to comment on whether I should buy the Xbox or PC versions?

I have a fairly good gaming pc (Core i5, 4GB RAM, ATI 5770) and an Xbox 360 that has been used for a heap of MW2 lately. It hopefully should run well on my PC.

I play FPSs on either platform, but I am leaning towards PC in this case as I may not have to put up with the idiots on Live, the PC version is cheaper and there is no splitscreen (which sucks) on the 360.

You have a decent PC, there is no reason whatsoever to go for the 360 version.

- Cheaper
- 32 Player multiplayer
- More control options (Mouse, Flight Stick, etc)
- Better Graphics
- Better Performance
- Faster menu navigation
- Can have FRAPS, Steam Chat, Vent/TeamSpeak running in background for more expandability

Not to mention Mouse shits on right stick for precision

Yeah, unlocked map pack 2. It was already on the disc, which really sucks. So really, it's nothing new, they just locked it away unless you bought it new. Hopefully they actually make some new DLC and not just forget about it now.

so peeps playing pc version, is there an easier way to add friends in the friends browser? I tried to add people, but they never get my invites? Or do both parties need to invite each other before it registers?

Hey anyone else had the glitch where you picked up a sniper kit as assault then die and for the rest of the round you play as assault with c4?

From as far as I have known this i will kill a recon person as assault and go the rest of the round with this uber fantastic kit.

C4+ unlimited ammo drops = fking pwnage.

Try it out, anyways as far as I know this works on 360.

You know Assault classes can have C4 with their kits normally right? Just select any primary weapon apart from Assault rifles, as they replace C4 with tubes and such. I do it all the time and yes, unlimited C4 is pretty fantastic. Works a treat in rush.

So last night, there was something in the air while I played BC2 at 3AM. I don't know what it was, but it did indeed make me achieve something I really wanted to do for a while.

Black Hawk in the air, charging towards our base. I'm recon, GOL MAGNUM in hand, magnum rounds and 12x scope. My reflex and focus kicks into insanely high gear and I aim ahead of the chopper, predicting where it'll fly.

Fire.

See the bullet arc over head and curve into the chopper. It takes a second to hit the black hawk. It hits, pierces through the window, I can see through my scope blood splatter out the temple of the pilot.

The black hawk crashes into the ocean. I head shotted the pilot.

Marksman 53+.

There was a lot of hysterics, hyperventilating and "OMFG YES" after that.

I just WISH I had it recorded. I actually have fraps on all the time, and gawd...to have that recorded

Denny that's one of the things that I miss about playing on PC. You can't do those "reflex' kills on console or at least I can't. Reminds me of a time where I was playing Halo on PC and I pulled off a no-scope shot from my sniper across the map without even thinking just doing.

Best marksman bonus I've gotten was +88. One of my mates emulated Denny, but got +262! Insane.

The worst thing about headshotting a Helicopter driver is the Helicopter doesn't blow up when it hits the ground. Pretty disappointing when a full one just falls to the ground and everyone jumps out once it lands.

I'm really starting to like the Recon class now and I've gotten the hang of sniping. Managed to score a +367 Marksman shot last night playing Rush in Arica Harbor. Managed to snipe another Recon in the tower just above the first base from just in front of the attackers spawn point. Let's just say I had the reticle a good 7cm above the target's head.

Finally sniped a helicopter pilot with the M95. As it's been mentioned, pretty disappointing that the chopper doesn't explode....it's a little strange since the entire game is based around blowing shit up.

I also got the Destruction 2.0 achievement, boosting is the best way :/
