Is it worthwhile me playing 3 and/or ODST or is Reach quite an improvement over those 2 to make me not want to go back? (Keeping in mind, I never rarely cared much for the actual story of Halo)...

I've played 3, that not ODST.
You could probably skip 3 and ODST. If anything there multi player modes are a hybrid of each other. _________________

Just skip them. Nothing really changes and it's not like you need to know the story.

Speaking of the Noble Map Pack, I am LOVING Tempest. It's easily one of my most favourite Halo maps of all time. Bungie really crafted a brilliant atmosphere in it.
The new achievements are bastards of things. I got the achievement where you have to take down a vehicle with the armor lock pretty easily, and the double shotgun kill shouldn't be too hard, but getting a double kill from the grave is going to be impossible. =P _________________

Am I the only one disappointed in Halo Reach? I love Halo games but this was finished in a matter of hours and felt very lacking.
No I don't play online as I have a real live person to play with, my awesome partner.
The game just felt 'blah'. nothing thrilling, exciting or even challenging really.
