ACTUALLY, humans still haven't even evolved enough for our bodies to digest and breakdown meats the propper way. Humans used to be veggetarian right up to the last iceage when we were forced to hunt because of how scarce food was. I remember, I was there. _________________ .erwin

maybe they're putting the emphasis on the "white" instead of the "meat" just to throw us off. _________________ <Kas' Sig>

bullshit... simply because "humans" weren't part of the evolutionary tree during the last ice age... that was homo sapiens where as we (i'm assuming you've evolved beyond this as well, i might be wrong if you were indeed "there") homo sapiens sapiens...
in addition, all members of the homo genotype (as far as i am aware... and have been taught) were noted for having omnivorous behavioural teeth... so meat was always on our menu... maybe it's cows have evolved so we don't digest and eat them... much the same way as chicken mcnuggets have done... _________________

Humans have evolved so we can adapt to eat various different things, this is why in the ice age homo sapiens could live anywhere, there's evidence of homo sapiens in Britain in the beginnings of the ice age for example, of course as the ice sheets grew they were forced to leave Britain uninhabited for many more years. Scientists have looked at what proteins are evident in their bone marrow from these early beginnings, they have gotten proteins from everything - plants, fish, various animals. It's this adaptive nature that caused homo sapiens to be able to survive for this long. Whilst Neanderthals (their diet mainly consisted of fish, who would have swam away as the ice sheets advanced) died out (didn't help that Homo sapiens tried to kill them off, but how likely is it that we killed them all?).

looking at some of the AFL and NRL plaeyrs we have here, quite unlikely...
and as i said, we are not homo sapiens, but rather homo sapiens sapiens... _________________
