This is the thread to talk about upcoming films.
As per the PALGN rules spoilers are not permitted, they may result in a ban or a $poon fine.
Spoilers:
If you are posting about a game, and you are describing some element of the plot or anything that isn't otherwise mentioned in the instruction manual, and sometimes, even if it is, a spoiler warning would be nice... the best way to do this is to simply type SPOILER, leave 5 lines, write your piece leave another 5 lines and type END SPOILER. alternatively, you could make it so the user has to take some effort to view the spoiler by changing the colour of your text. the BEST way to do this is using the following tags:
| Code: |
<insert spoiler text here>
|
This will produce ">>>SPOILERS<<< wrote:" followed a white box, with white text, which anyone who doesn't mind being spoiled has to highlight the text within with their mouse to see. Like so:
| >>>SPOILERS<<< wrote: | | nifty, hey? |
Spoilers are not appreciated at all within PALGN and users posting spoilers regarding films, books, games and any other form of entertainment will face either a $poon fine or a banning.

I'm not sure if it will make it here for the Easter Holidays, but Kill Bill Vol. 2 is definitely on my 'must see' list.

Does anyone know if that date is the same for the UK? Also when is the Starsky and Hutch movie coming out in the UK?

I'm too young to see Kill Bill.
Besides I'm sick of seeing girls in action movies.
Was the first one any good?
As in have a plot a good plot besides from naked woman who kill people.

You're to young to see Kill Bill, yet you've seen Trigun, what a strange world we live in.
The first one was awesome, and was not anything to do with naked women. In fact there was no naked women. The plot, I can't say to much about since it will spoil volume 2. But basically it is about this woman who was going to get married, however the crime gang she used to work with hunts her down, and almost kill her. They think she is dead, but she's still alive in a coma. Eventually she wakes up, four years later, her baby (she was pregnant) gone she decides to hunt down those who did this to her. So she goes and gets a sword from some skilled blacksmith, and sets off to get her revenge. She kills the first (before she gets the sword), and second, and there's still 3 people left for her to kill.
The movie is a great homage to many asian films, including the old kung fu movies, anime (there's enough blood to rival Ninja Scroll), and various others. It's not really an action movie, I mean there's lots of action scenes in it, but it's just so different to western action films. You have to see it.

I believe Kill Bill: Volume 1 is out only a few weeks before Volume 2 so you could hire it.

Our local cinema will most likely be showing the 'new releases' from last holidays. Yes, it really sucks. I can have a better movie experience by watching a DVD in my room. This can mean two things; I'm a richer, or the cinema is pathetic. I'm not rich. _________________ Leigh's Videos - School Is Fun

There is easily 3 more movies there that has potential:
Secret Window,
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind,
and The Cooler.
I guess because none of them have blood and guts and foul language is why today's culture won't see them.
Eternal sunshine looks to be another Kaufman sleeper. Too bad many here - on this board and others - will miss it.
