Quite a few Greenmangaming Aussie Day specials. Picked up Saints Row 3 for $20. Champion site. Beats paying $80 on Steam...

Dunno if it's at every JBs, but the one I went to today (Belconnen, Canberra) had 50% off all their PS2 games. Most of the 2nd hand games were about $14 before the discount, but a couple of the new games were only marked at 50 cents. _________________

Can't wait until they do that to their PSP games.
Mine didn't have a sign saying this today, but I'll go back and check tomorrow. _________________

Yeah seems they're looking to get rid of the PS2 stock, all trade-ins are now worth $2, probably won't be long till they get rid of them altogether (last week they stopped doing Xbox (original) trade-ins. I don't think my store had any signage up for the 50% off but it should scan at the right price, just get someone to check for you. _________________

GAME have a Vita deal:
Get a PS Vita for half price when trading in a 3DS console + one game.
Considering how many games are coming in the next three months that I intend to buy for my 3DS (none), it's actually a pretty tempting deal. You're essentially getting $175 for your used 3DS. _________________

^^ especially if your planning on getting the eventual 3-dual stick-DS redesign thats inevitable. - My DS has ambassador games on it though, so it won't be traded. _________________

Not really, considering you can get a Vita outright from the US for $250 (I suppose $270 with postage.) _________________

It'd cost $100 to ship from the US alone.

$16 from Amazon, Pai Mel $100 is fairly ridiculous, even express via USPS would be nowhere near that much for a Vita.
I was going to preorder from Amazon but given the low sales so far I might wait for a price drop _________________

I'd buy one from the U.S, but when it comes to something that I'm spending $350 on, I'd like to have the peace of mind of having a warranty that I can actually use. Plus, this way I'll definitely have my console on launch day. _________________

Except amazon us does not ship ps vitas out of the US. Pai mel, I think is actually referring to using a forwarding service and using the most express methods i.e postage from amazon to the forwarding company via overnight then using ups. In my opinion, without messing around with adapting a U.S plug to Australian plug, having an Australian warranty and getting it on day is worth the extra clams or so by getting it via GAME by preordering is a pretty good deal still. _________________

Ah, good point, I was forgetting about that. Yeah, definitely not worth the hassle. _________________

I was able to order a Vita (wi-fi only, not 3G) just fine from US Amazon a little while ago when I tried (I cancelled it though). Sucks if they changed that, I assumed if I wanted it again I'd be able to order the same way. Hopefully they'll change it back later, they do ship PSPs here after all. _________________

Since it's just come back in stock I just picked up Saints Row The Third from ozgameshop for $34.99 using the Australia Day coupon. My mate is doing the same thing as we plan on playing through the game completely in co-op. Once we eventually finish Dead Island anyway... _________________
