Oh wait, when I read LeonJs post I was thinking of the boss that shoots green missiles at you, and that one is stuck on inverted, I found it a little irritating. _________________

Almost at 1/2 a million. If PAL territories come through... reckon it will pass 1 Mil? That makes it quite good for a "niche" title then!

Thing is though I don't think it was meant to be a niche title, I have a feeling that it was developed to be a revolution like what DMC1 was back in the day. It was just badly marketed (and ported) by Sega.

Just unlocked the Kulshedra. It's awesome. I can now battle enemies without even touching the ground. I love how different weapons and accessories can completely change the way you play the game.
Has anyone unlocked the "Lost Chapter"? I haven't played it yet but apparently it's like DMC's Bloody Palace, except much tougher. Don't think anyone has finished it yet according to the leaderboards.

Gotta say cheers to Bronze, without this recomendation I would not have bought this..
I don't usually play games like this, so while I'm dying a fuckload it's so much fun that I just keep going and rarely find it frustrating, only problem is I'm probably doubling the length of the game and don't have that much time to put in.
This game kicks a lot of arse. _________________

For everybody that bought the Climax edition from Fishpond, did your outer slipcase boxes come sealed? I bought a few to send to my friends overseas, and the ones that came, the slipcase was not sealed, and looks abit worn/scratched/creased. While the game inside was still sealed, it makes me wonder where Fishpond got them from, since they look like old poorly handled shelfstock leftovers.
Also they got an extra shiny MA sticker ontop of the printed MA sign, which is pretty retarded.
The suppliers really should have shrinkwrapped the slipcase.....its meant to be a collectors item.

Mine was sealed
When you say MA sticker, do you mean on the actual game case or the big box with the CD and book? I got the shiny RESTRICTED 16 sticker put over my MA15+ _________________ The best FPS is Pokemon Snap Facebook Group

Big box (they call it a slipcase). So basically if u try to remove it, it may rip some of the covering of the box off.

Just PLATNIUM'ed this game. It took just under 36 hours total for me.
Now I don't have to play it anymore! _________________

that's the New Zealand rating scheme. it seems they source their stock from NZ (which is why they're able to offer the GOW Ultimate Edition, despite it being an EB exclusive in AU - as it's not in NZ.
mine was sealed by the way - the gun box had shrinkwrapping, and the "slipcase" had those circular, clear stickers sealing the box - no other shrinkwrapping, and the game case itself was shrinkwrapped and MS-sealed.
sounds like you simply drew the short straw i'm afraid. _________________

Ah damn oh well......
Btw, seeming as they are sourcing them from NZ now, suggests kiwis ain't too hot for the game.

Decided to download the demo, didn't really like it. I couldn't even keep my eyes in focus while playing, yet I was still doing good. It's just like Devil May Cry 4.

If you got the ps3 demo, it is meant to be blurry and all. That how it is on for the system.
I think is more the opposite of DMC4:
Dante/Bayonetta = Boy/Girl
Music: Rock/ Pop
Graphics: dark and night/ daytime and colourful

I got the 360 demo. I mean I couldn't keep my eyes focused as it just wasn't very interesting at all. I'll play it again though, as I can't have something sitting there unplayed.

IIRC...
EB was around the $40ish
However, I'd say JB would have at least $45-50 for it. Or you could just use it on Game's 'trade 1' offer. _________________

My local EBGames was offerring $50 for Bayonetta XB360 version, not sure if this differs with the PS3.
Anyway it looks like one of my major gripes with the PS3 version of Bayonetta being the load times is getting fixed. Why this option wasn't avaliable in the first place is beyond me.
| NG4.com wrote: | PlayStation 3 software for Bayonetta. On January 28 (Thursday) decided to conduct an online update.
The online update of this PlayStation 3 version of BAYONETTA will add the HDD install feature, which will reduce load times and load faster. Updates to the main menu after the "INSTALL" item has been added, and select the item to the HDD installation is started. |

The patch for the PS3 version is now up, weighing in at 138MB.
Should finish downloading in about 8 minutes so I'll post results soon after. _________________

Cool, even though I have the 360 version, I'm still interested in what the patch fixes. Keep us posted bro.
