I came across this morning, looks awesome.
The package will include a copy of the game, limited-edition art book, loads of extra digital content, a full length documentary entitled God of War: Unearthing the Legend, and the God of War trilogy soundtrack. The whole thing will come packaged in a replica of Pandora's Box and will retail for $99.99.
Additionally, players will have access to the God of War Combat Arena which is essentially a challenge zone featuring seven challenges and Dominus (a Kratos skin) which will be available via the PSN.
So far this is only available for pre order in the US, but hopefully we get it here. _________________

So Andy, does that mean your buying the God of War 1&2 Collection...? _________________ http://OXCGN.com/ -> *LIMBO REVIEW*

It'd be alright for under $120 but any more than that i dont think its really worth it. like shadow said the plastic case on the game is a bit lame.. they could atleast do a tin box. _________________ Play-Asia

At today's exchange rate...that's about $110 AUD. Let's hope it's exactly that price here...
This stuff actually looks pretty good!

If they released that package here it'll retail for $169.95 or possibly more going by other releases of similiar pricing in the US and the AUD counterparts _________________ RIP Buddha 19/10/1952 - 03/01/2004

When I was recently in the US, the RRP at Gamestop honestly felt like a genuine bargain compared to here, and when those were on sale.... Worlds exploded..

| European Playstation Blog wrote: | God of War III: Ultimate Trilogy Edition
Hi everyone
I’m Thach Quach, Senior European Product Manager for the brutal and highly-anticipated God of War III, exclusive to PlayStation 3.
I’d like to give you some details about the “God of War III: Ultimate Trilogy Edition” we have planned for Europe, Australia and New Zealand and answer any questions you might have.
We’ve been working pretty hard on this for the past few months but I’m delighted to announce that the “Ultimate Trilogy Edition” will be available in limited quantities in most European countries, Australia and New Zealand at the same time as the standalone God of War III game. Pricing and exact release details to be confirmed in the next few weeks so stay tuned
This very special edition will come in a high-end, sculpted replica of Pandora’s Box and we are planning to include the following items inside:
* God of War III
* God of War Collection (gentle reminder, this is God of War and God of War II, remastered in HD, running at 60 fps, with Trophy support, all on one Blu-ray Disc)
* Extra game content downloadable via PlayStation Network:
o God of War Combat Arena containing an exclusive environment and seven challenges to complete
o Dominus character skin
o Apollo character skin
o Phantom of Chaos character skin
o Forgotten Warrior character skin
* Exclusive video content downloadable via PlayStation Network:
o God of War: Unearthing the Legend Franchise Documentary. This is a full-length documentary detailing the history of the God of War franchise. A must have for fans!
* Special audio bonus content:
o God of War Trilogy Soundtrack – God of War, II, and III scores from the game
o God of War: Blood and Metal EP – a heavy metal homage featuring original music inspired by God of War
* Additional content:
o Artbook
o Postcards
Below is an image of the actual box and also work in progress visuals of its content. I hope you’ll agree that it looks pretty sweet
This “Ultimate Trilogy Edition” will be released in limited quantities at the same time as the main God of War III launch next year.
That’s about it for now… I leave you with some concept art pieces which have been released previously but that you may not yet have seen. Enjoy the rest of the end of year festivities.
Thach

note that the EB site doesn't actually mention the Pandora's Box replica... =/
(i'm sure this is an EB SNAFU, since the PS3 announcement clearly mentions it.)
great timing on this announcement though, mere days after i FINALLY received my GOWC from Play Asia. =/ _________________

Just sell it off to someone who doesn't have it then, so it soughta helps pay off the CE. That what i'm probably going to do..... _________________

Yeah! What he said, or alternatively you could trade it back.
It's all good either way. _________________

Unfortunately since this game is almost certainly going to be refused classification none of this really matters...
I cannot see a scene where you rip off the Sun God's head with your bare hands being allowed into this country.
I hope to be pleasantly surprised though. _________________

I saw that and the first thing I thought was 'Please don't let that be an EB Exclusive'. And of course, it's an EB Exclusive.

Cool, other than the fact I already imported the GOW collection is gives me another excuse to not bother with this release. _________________

$258?
They sure are hedging their bets on how much worthless memorabilia people want to buy. $120++ for a box and some printouts? _________________

I wonder how long until it gets majorly discounted for taking up a huge amount of shelf space. Probably not quite as quick as the Argonauts game I guess =) _________________
