Here are some user opinions @ the TouchArcade forums. Seems to be very positively received so far..

Have become slightly addicted to Temple Run lately, trying to beat my top score and harass people into playing so I've got some records to beat.
You should get it, and add me to Game Center. Just sayin'... _________________

Karai Pantsu
Just sent you a request. Although, since Dungeon Raiders was recommended that is pretty much all that I've been playing... like, every waking moment.
Thanks for posting that guys, I'll probably never get anything done again =P _________________

Had a really good run of Dungeon Raid this morning. As a Mage with Dazzle, Enchant, Hack and Slash. Using enchant as often as possible. Using the other three skills to deal with special enemies. I've started to find prioritising armour and weapon damage over anything else is a good approach. That and not wasting more swords than necessary to kill an enemy _________________

I'm pretty much in love with Skill Elixir, or a combination of Treasure Chest, Collect all Gold, and Double Gold. It's all about getting those stats up!
Currently I'm having close to my second best run to date - Paladin (class level 5, character level 31 and still going) with Teleport, Skill Elixir, Repair, and Shatter. That said, Shatter was a rubbish choice and doesn't do what I thought it did. Will be helpful when I start getting skulls with more armor than I can comfortably deal with, but even then it'll be of little help.
I started off with the saving swords, potions, and such for later - I moved on to just clearing as much of the board as possible each turn when it's not more pressing to kill stuff (tm). Turns matter, and if you spend too long being too frugal, then you'll just get bitten in the arse for it.
Clear what you can, get as much as you can with each turn. Pick complementary skills and upgrades, and make sure you smash those stats up as much as possible. I will always take STR up over weapon damage, DEF over armor increase - unless the latter really overshadows the former, but that doesn't happen often.
Yet to get much past 10K though, but still valiantly trying!
Edit: Played a few more turns, char lev 35. I love this game.

Woohoo! I beat Karai's highscore! Over 19,000 points and 100 levels as a masochistic halfling raider. Masochist (coins become enemies) is a great skill, leave the coins until it pops and then wipe a whole board of enemies at once. A few times I levelled up twice in one move. I ran out of useful upgrades - every skill was at level 10, luck, strength, dex, etc all had 100% max bonus. I ended up just pumping base damage and max health.
I also had trap and two skills I regretted picking: slash and double armour. I really could have done with something like medic and repair to remove all the potions and shields. Enchant would also have been great as I didn't get as many upgrades as I'd like.
Ended up dying to a couple of special monsters. Meat shields and spikey ones get really nasty later. _________________

Ooooh, nice! I just started in on a raider myself - got trap, medic, and masochist... still waiting for a worthy third skill to appear. Masochist and trap is like candy! Just throw max armor at me, bring it on =D
Don't think I'm going to get close to rivaling your 19K any time soon though, this char strikes me as a 'going nowhere slow' one TBH. I've been getting pretty lousy upgrades so far, and I worry that it won't last long enough to get good. Still, I now have a class to focus on leveling instead of Pally! _________________

OK I think Halfling Raiders basically win this game. Unless you get one of these buggers who basically does 200 damage a turn to you, regardless of your armour.

I could probably have used something other than the double-swords skill there. An extra 17 damage per sword isn't much compared to 231 base damage. I'm thinking disarm would have been great for just this reason. Or teleport. Even repair would have been more use, just to get rid of shields. _________________
