Well, in her defense, the light used by the camera man is probably making it a lot worse than it really is.

Wow, this whole wog thing is laughable. In the end, as a 'wog,' it really depends on how the term is used. If it is used in a derogatory manner then yes, it suddenly becomes offensive.
Oh, and I can't wait to show that video to my workmates. We'll have a good laugh about that in the morning.

Can't agree more. We don't have a strong interest in politics (unlike the US, France etc.) and the like; we're far more interested in shenanigans and stupid little fluff pieces. I mean, you just have to look at what's been dominating the news of late. The biggest news is a couple of footballers having sex? Some guy takes a performance enhancing drug? A CEO shadowboxes a woman's face off? Big deal (well the last one's a bit :/...).

Interest does not equate to apathy with action. You can have an interest in politics and deem that any current party does not meet your mandate and thus in a situation where voting is not enforced, you effectively vote by not voting.
Anyway, this is kind of the reason why I watch SBS news, because you actually get news for the most part as opposed to puppies being caught up trees with makeup on.

I once while walking up the the shopping centre for lunch in high school, had a car with a couple of Lebanese guys in it drive slowly alongside me, while one of them yelled "Ya' Fuckin' Bean!" at me...
Didn't really anger me, but it amused me in hindsight.
