I watched Guilty Crown and Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (I Don't Have Many Friends).
Guilty Crown wasn't bad. Felt familiar and generic but it has promise. As Jahanzeb pointed out, the soundtrack is great. The opening was very well done and reminded me of a movie I like.
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai on the other hand was unexpectedly good. I'm liking the theme of "making friends", that doesn't seem to be touched on much in anime. The animation is great, particularly in the character designs. The characters seem to have quite a bit of depth to them. Yozora and her "air friend" were quite charming. Hopefully it keeps this stuff up rather than drift off into the typical direction school comedies of this caliber tend to go.

Just finished Madoka. I can't believe I put off watching the last 4 episodes for so many months due to laziness =p Fan-freaking-tastic. S grade anime imo, I wanted an all-happy ending but hey that's not what the show is about so can't complain. I was really drawn to all the characters, felt a bit teary during some scenes, the authenticity of the characters was amazing especially during scenes when they break down. _________________

Just watched the first ep of the new Last Exile show. It was actually pretty exciting, watch it here:
http://www.madman.com.au/videos/view/2762
I think they should had made a JRPG out of this instead of anime =p I noticed that there is a lack of male characters compared to the original series, I think GONZO is just following the anime trend in Japan =) _________________

I've been meaning to watch that, but after talking to a number of people at Manifest (they had an early screening at Manifest this year) the reactions have been very lukewarm at best.
Most ppl said it was either ok or pretty average, I haven't watched it myself yet, but I intend to soon. _________________

there better be some yuri in this to counter the lack of a possible romantic element since the lead is not a guy! _________________

So
Persona Episode 3 was pretty decent, it didnt wow me like the first 2 episodes but it was still fun to watch
Guilty Crown ep 2 was amazing, the music that played during the final battle was epic and the battle scene had a really good finish. The characters are pretty cool, non generic in personality. Well except Shu, but something about him makes him seem like a real character instead of pretentious self absorbed kid. _________________

I thought the first 2 episodes of Persona 4 were boring, so I'm hoping I'll enjoy episode 3 more... _________________

Whoa, how good was episode 3 of Persona 4! A huge improvement over the first two episodes. The pacing was perfect and the fight scene when Yu summons Pyro Jack was awesome. I like that they added a bit of back story to Chie and Yukiko's friendship too. I found the ending very touching when Chie took out her phone. Chie is so much more appealing in the anime, it's probably partly to do with her voice and personality. I can't wait for the next episode now!

I'm not sure where I sit with the Persona 4 anime. I can't help but feel that I wouldn't like it as much, if I hadn't played the game.
I liked the little back story thing in Episode 3. Hopefully there will be more to come. I'll be interested to see how they handle social links in future episodes.

plus it would have been better if it aired last season, but it's pretty weak when there are stronger shows this fall season. _________________

Apparently what we screened at Manifest was an earlier cut than what went to air, so the episode you watch on the screenings room might be quite different to what people saw at Manifest. _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman

Actually you'd probably appreciate it more if you hadn't played the game. It doesn't deviate from the game very much at all so for people who've played the game multiple times, it's completely predictable and a bit of a yawn fest.
But yeah I hope they add some more back story that we didn't see in the game. It's the only thing the anime really has going for it in my opinion.

Where do you guys watch your anime??
I've just finish Steins;Gate and Kamisama no Memochou. Both are nice and I really enjoyed Steins;Gate. The story was great and am quite surprise with the reference injections for humour.
I lauff when Kurisu said ダメだコイツ、早く何とかしないと (dameda koitsu, hayaku nantoka shinaito | Gah, This (person) is hopeless, we better do something about it, otherwise....) and when Okabe said the classic 見ろ!人がゴミのようだ!良い眺めだ!(miro! hitoga gomi no youda! iinagameda). I have to admit that there are plenty more I have no idea about. _________________ 「貧乳はステータスだ!希少価値だ!」 - 泉 こなた

Pagan: I totally agree about episode 3 of Persona, I reckon it was the best episode so far. Much better pacing than episode 2, some extra backstory, and nice animation. I know the story of Persona 4 like the back of my hand, but I still enjoy watching the anime because it's a fresh interpretation of the game's plot. I've found it interesting to see how they go about adapting certain parts, such as the battles to suit the anime format. While they end the same way as they do in the game, I consider the actual fights to be new content. _________________

Ah okie.
I am choosey when it comes to subs. I generally only go for the few I like and wait till its complete. Thus I am slower than most of you guys as I am generally one season behind. _________________ 「貧乳はステータスだ!希少価値だ!」 - 泉 こなた

Anyone been watching Boku ha Tomodochi ga Sukunai? Long title aside, very much enjoying it so far. Didn't think I would originally reading the synopsis on wiki, but has turned out to probably be my favorite atm.
Guilty Crown's good, but I find the story lacking. 4/7 animes watching so far are harem _________________ Steam: Vellprecise

I'm watching it and it's awesome. Seriously the best show this season in my opinion. There are some very classy ecchi moments in this series and I have fallen in love with some of the female characters (Sena and Yozora) . Even the main male lead is very likeable which is great. Really amazing animation for this sort of show.
