Xbox 360
F.E.A.R - Currently finishing it now, was the first Xbox 360 game I ever bought, but at the time I not only couldn't get into it but it scared the shit out of me. Matured a hell of alot since then and now barely jump.
The Darkness - Hired it ages ago, loved it. Bought it 4 months ago tried starting again couldn't get into it and the difficulty on normal did my head in. I will finish it eventually.
Quake 4 - I don't even know if I will ever finish this
Orange box - I finished portal and played a bit of the orginial HL2 I think I'm getting close to finishing it but I just can't get into it. I wish I could because I know its a wonderful game.
Splinter Cell Double Agent - Thought I liked stealth games, turned out I didn't.
Dead Space - Got pissed off at a real simple part, have zero motivation to go back to it.
Wii
Resident evil 4 - I played it for ages and found myself just wanting it to end, It drags on so much.
Smash Bros - Didn't have the charm of the GC and N64 ones. _________________

It's actually a really fun game. I know most people dismiss it as one of rares shitty games but it's a great platformer and some of the overworld battles are insanley impressive with entire mountinsides coverd in enemies that you rip through in one of your forms, or riding your rocket launcher weilding dinosaut. _________________

Given the massive gaming collections that I've collected and been exposed to since my birth, there's one question I'd rather see answered than the topic's question.
What's the longest it took you to finish a game?
Both Impossible Mission and It Came From The Desert were games I finished 15 years after I first played them. The former I finished on an actualy C64 that a friend acquired about ten years ago, while the latter I finished on an emulator. _________________

Super Nintendo:
Mechwarrior: Couldn't even get past the first level! Mind you I was 6.
Battletoads: In Battlemaniacs: Bought this a couple of years ago after originally renting it when I was 6. I can never get past level 4.
Gameboy Colour:
Zelda: Oracle of Ages - Was nearing the final quater before my attention reclined.
Gameboy Advance:
Mario and Luigi: I believe I was more than half-way through this game before I put it down and got lost.
Tales of Phantasia: Was 1/3 through with all of my characters well prepared when I couldn't take the poor combat system seriously anymore.
Nintendo DS:
Children of Mana: Never got as far to insert the game into my NDS.
Meteos: Unsure whether this had a campaign, if so I never completed it.
Trauma Centre: Got up to a mission that didn't involve surgery and I was turned off straight away.
Star Fox: Didn't expect it to be so poor.
Bomberman: I've been on and off this game for awhile. Havn't played it since 2007 though...
Rune Factory: Got over my Harvest Moon phase.
Castlevania: I got stuck somewhere and never really recovered. Great game otherwise.
GameCube:
Phantasy Star Online: Episodes 1 and 2 - Can you actually finish this game? I didn't progress too far anyways.
Skies of Arcadia: Legends - Fun game but I played it too sparingly.
Phantasy Star Online: Episode 3 - Silly investment purchase...
Metroid Prime: Bought it upon release and my brother played my save file while I was away on school camp. Never the less my interest never peaked again.
Metroid Prime 2: Never made it inside the console.
Baiten Katos: Made it into the first town. I received this along with MP2 in essence: Worst Christmas Ever. (PS: before I'm accused of being shallow there was more to it than just the presents xP).
Viewtiful Joe: Made it up to the level where you fight each boss back to back...too difficult.
F-Zero GX: I flat out suck at this game.
Playstation 2:
Final Fantasy X: Used an Action Replay on a save file that I'd been using for a number of years based on rentals. Have been filthy with myself ever since. I'm playing it again and I'm currently in a temple about to retrieve Bahumut. (Or whatever he's called).
Final Fantasy X-2: Was about 50% through when I moved on.
Star Ocean: I was stuck in the first mine of the game. Sad I know although I found the combat system to be...average.
Shadow Hearts: Convenant - Briefly played it after finding it for $15. Was an investment buy.
Okami: Received this when I turned 17. Havn't gotten past the main title screen.
Shadow of the Colussus: Halfway through.
Dragon Quest: Defeated the second boss and havn't played it since.
Phantom Brave: Made it up to Chapter 8 and I grew bored of it.
Nintendo 64:
Banjo Kazooie: Got up to Gruntilda but could never beat her. Mind you that was nearly a decade ago so I'll have to fire the console up again.
Jet Force Gemani: I always got up to a specific section and I'd get lost.
Paper Mario: Was my favourite game at the video shop. Sadly my play time would vary as I'd have to play through different save files. I believe collectively I was up to the Seventh Star.
Wii:
Zelda: Twighlight Princess - I believe I finished the first dungeon. The game failed to captivate me.
Mario: Soccer: Too frustrating.
EDIT: To answer Goobers Question I'd have to say Wrestlemania 2000 which took me 9 years to clock the good ending. _________________

it's actually something i wanted to play at one point, but i dunno, now it's not as appealing for some reason. maybe i'll get to it.
it's not as if it's worth anything to trade in though, so i doubt i'll ever get rid of it.
hmm... longest time to complete a game...
was probably Super Mario Brothers, or SMB3. played first on NES and completed in Allstars, but neither are really huge gaps in between...
i've not finished the original Metal Gear, despite playing it on the NES many years ago, and then recently on the MGS3: Subsistence bonus disc.
oh i know!
Metroid.
never finished it on NES, but finished "it" many years later in it's re-released GBA form. _________________

Is there a thread for "What Games Have You Finished?"
I need that one.
[Edit] And the "What was the last game you finished" thread is non-applicable...

on 360, the main replay value comes from achievements imo
ive still gotta finish the main story in:
lost odyssey (10 hrs in, 40 hrs to go!)
GTA IV (getting back into it now, pretty fun with weapon cheat )
Mass effect (gotta get into my 2nd play through and get some more achievements, haah)
Orange box - half life, 1, and 2 (at the end of half life atm)
GH world tour (going to try and dig some more achievements and finish career guitar on hard)
