Actually the possibillity has been around for ages (before the PS3 even came out), it's just only recently that it's happening since there's not much demand for it.

If you are making a multiplatform game (PS3 & 360) then it's not too much extra work since the PS3 ver would already deal with most of the problems. It's certainly not a non-issue but I wasn't being entirely serious, I just like poking holes in marketings "excuses" .

Sadly not true, blu-ray players are still rather expensiveand just a drive using the 360 to decode in software would probably end up being a little cheaper... not that MS would price it that way though now that I think about it
