Errm... Is that a compliment? 
Well, I know that I'm good at acting (not to sound up myself) and I'm a very open, expressive, exaggerated person. I'd love to go to NIDA. The truth is, it's almost impossible to be accepted there, and I'm not in a position to finance my further education. The requirements clearly state you need to be 18 to apply - I'm in my final year of school, and I'm still 16 (for four more days...). I'm not going to wait in this pissy town for a year, working at Target, just so I can attend an audition for a university I'll most likely not get into. Bah, I'm getting myself into one of those ranty moods again... 
The Defence Force is an opportunity for me to do something interesting with my life. I'm guaranteed acceptance (although I'll probably apply for something that puts my Yr 12 education to good use).
Are you afraid I'll get killed, Shockeh?

Now Bronze i have nothing against your wanting to join the Defense force, but you should probably have a better reason than the money, because they will not accept someone that says " Are you kidding??, i get everything paid for here...EVERYTHING!!!!" when they are asked why they want to join.
U will most likel;y have to do this for at least 9 years minimum if you start your degree there... which means about an 8th of your life...
if you have a choice to work hard and make some money so that you can support yourself while ure at an acting school, then do that.. because u dont wanna be stuck in something u dont like... for a long time.
but if thats what u want to do... then cool

In the near future, I will be doing something movie-related and designing ads and stuff. I found out that I passed the exam for the school I attended, so it makes this day so special . There were 45 attending and 25 got in.
