Got a few simple quick questions.
1. What's a good program to get rid off Pop-up windows? I'm sick of the pop-ups that sites throw at you. *couch*ign*cough*
2. I'm not an expert with PC's, so is it safe to delete everything that's in the "Temp" folder under Windows? I've been "spring cleaning" my HD and that folder's full of old stuff.
Thanks for the help. _________________

1) There are some free programs available (search on download.com for Popup Killers) but some don't work as well as they should. I use one from meaya.com which works nicely but occassionally shoots down legit popups triggered by me, it cost $25 but I consider it a fair price for peaceful surfing.
2) Most of the stuff in the temp folder can be deleted as thats what it should be, temp stuff. I've never had any problems resulting from deleting the contents of the Temp folder. _________________

Civ, use AD AWARE to get rid of those annoying pop ups. Gets rid of all spyware in your system, and is a free downlad too. However if a certain website has a ton of pop ups, then its the site, my friend not your HD.
And yes, it is safe to delete everything ion your 'TEMP' folder.

I use NoAds to get rid of my popups. At first, it won't work that great, because you actually have ban the bad popups yourself (so it doesn't cancel non-advertising ones). _________________ Leigh's Videos - School Is Fun

I'd reccomend using Ad-Aware and Pop Up Stopper. Keeps you're HD and your Browser free of annoying Pop-Ups (or just buy a Mac and use Safari). _________________ "Criminals are a superstitious and cowardly lot." - Bruce Wayne
