EB is price matching for tonight's midnight launch
I am buying just the game for $64
Have picked up the Rock band instrument kit with Game from EB (matched Big W) for $217
Therefore for Rock Band + GH WT + Instruments, I am just pating $281!! -
That is the best deal that I could find...

@Zhou
Oh is it? Dang. Didn't specifically say it was the pre-order price so I wouldn't be too surprised if its actually that price when it launches. I'll check it out. _________________

Will be price matching whichever store still has stock when I pick up my pre-order at 9am.
They're all cheaper than EB. _________________

Yea, but if you ask EB they WILL price match. NO ONE has better after sale offers then EB. _________________ Soldiers Of Rage

I totally agree with Slipvayne
I am an EB shopper and always trade with them as they match any deal.
It pays to be a customer there...

What I normally do is I show them a copy of the catalogue and they'll price match right away. They might contest against the sale period though, in which case just get the staff to ring whatever store you want to price match. There is a policy however, they won't price match stores that are more than 20mins away.
| Quote: | | I thought Big W had the cheapest complete bundle. |
As far as I know, that only applied to pre-orders. Their current catalogue puts the prices as $20 more. You'll notice in the window title that it says pre-order, and in text next to the prices it says pre-orders are closed.

Their new catalogue should be available on the official site tomorrow. The catalogue only contains Complete bundles though (hence why the others are listed n/a in the round-up). _________________

I'm disappointed that JB aren't stocking the standalone game - what's the deal with that? Surely they're not going to get much stock of the bundle, and you'd think there'd be enough interest from GH3 players and new (and old!) Rockband players to stock the standalone?
Bah, no Game's around - guess I'll just order online when I can be botherd. _________________

So should I buy Rock bad (big w catalogue ending tomrrow) with a "weak" bass drum pedal or Guitar hero (Thursday) with its "broken" yellow drum pad?
I think I'll just wait till rock band 2....... _________________

yeah but sometimes they can be the biggest bunch of douches around, even IF you have a catalogue. LBP release day, I had a JB catalogue and they STILL called TWO different JB's to make sure they
1) had stock
2) were selling for said price ( like i could be bothered to photoshop and print out an authentic catalogue? )
*edit* the guys are douches, the goth chick who works there is awesome and the asian one in the Brisbane City too. _________________

Why are the complete band prices for Target n/a? I've got a Band Bundle preordered for the 360 for $280. I better not get screwed over, or someone will pay.

n/a means that no price was available at the time of write up. It doesn't mean they aren't selling it. I can only go by advertised prices, I can't make any assumptions unless I have a source. Presumably, if retailers aren't advertising a special price, then that means it will be full price in store.
Also, I’ve used n/a as a means to keep a consistent format. I didn’t like putting standalone, Guitar bundle and Complete bundle next to the prices as it looked messy, especially when I had to do it across all consoles. I apologise for any confusion this may have caused and in future I’ll add notes saying n/a means no price available at time of write up.
As for the Target bundle price, as far as I know that price was limited to pre-orders only, and is not in their current catalogue.

If you mean time instead of price, then there's no specific time when the catalogue will go live. Since Dick Smith is right next door to your local EB though, you should be able to just walk in and grab a catalogue from them directly. _________________

Angry? Sorry, I misinterpreted the bargains list N/A markings to mean that they weren't being sold - which was, in retrospect, a pretty silly mistake. Joseph cleared that up nicely above, but thanks for the hostility when a simple point to the previous post would have sufficed... _________________

Angry? Sorry if I came across as angry, I didn't mean it like that. I've just got a big work load to get through this week and I'm probably showing signs of stress. _________________

Just to make sure we're on the same page here, because I've been thoroughly making a mess of any and all attempts at communication and comprehension today, I was replying to ZNMS - I only say this because I'm not sure if you are too, or if you're replying to me
Gah. Time for sleep I think, before any more confusion occurs in my noggin. _________________
